Waze 3000
The Waze application requires immediate updates to resolve navigation and interface failures. The current design uses cartoonish language. This style reduces the professional utility of your tool. You must adopt a more mature visual language.
Voice search fails to provide effective results. This malfunction creates safety risks for drivers.
The map view locks during Android Auto use. You should allow users to move or adjust the map on the vehicle screen without touchscreen feature.
The interface largelly displays recent routes immediately. This clutter slows down the navigation process and hinders the user's privacy.
Preferred gas stations and fuel grades disappear while driving with Android Auto. These settings must remain accessible during transit.
Waze lacks a current lane feature for highway driving. You must add lane indicators to assist with exits.
The map does not show traffic lights, speed bumps, or stop signs. Drivers need these visual cues for better awareness.
The display lacks landmarks and business indicators. These real life markers help users confirm their location.
Drivers cannot change carpool or Fastrak preferences while the vehicle is in motion. You must enable these adjustments to allow for route changes.
Other personal suggestions: street parking information, remember parking spot, and AI map/navigation.
Fix these issues to improve your navigation service.

I have a suggestion: it would be great to show stop signs and traffic lights on the route.
If we could go to Map Issue and note when there is a 2-way stop sign; a 4 - way stop sign; or a traffic light, it would improve Waze and help the driver when on a route to know what's coming up.

Average speed zone - keep indicator on screen in car play
If we can’t have the calculation of our average speed at least keep an icon on screen in car play. If we miss the notification we entered an average speed zone we may not realise we are in one.

When searching for gas stations, show unbranded stations with name
Today, when searching for gas stations, unbranded stations are shown as "Other". It will be much more usable to show the stations' names instead of.

waze ai let me know whenever I am near a Catholic Church without driving me there unless asked. Even as a paid feature.
Allow waze ai to be instructed to let me know whenever I am near a Catholic Church without driving me there unless asked.
This is great for exploring new locations when traveling
Waze actually used to have a setting for flagging places of worship on the maps.
Even as a paid feature this would be great1 vote -
Indicate sub-menus for reporting
When reporting something (in CarPlay) you have to select categories and specific options. From the icon it’s not possible to see which is which. This sometimes results in me sending an incorrect report as I’m trying to find the best match for the situation.
Adding a small triangle or something to the icons of sub-menus would help with this.

Request to Improve Malay‑Road‑Name Pronunciation in English Voice Guidance
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to Waze’s voice navigation for users in Malaysia:
Currently, many Malaysian road names (e.g., “Jalan Tun Razak”, “Lingkaran Syed Putra”, “LEKAS”) are often mispronounced when using the English‑language voice, even though the spelling is correct. This can be confusing when driving because the spoken name does not match the local way people say it.
I would like to request that Waze:
1. Improve the English‑voice TTS engine to better handle common Malay‑language road‑name patterns (Jalan, Lebuhraya, Persiaran, etc.), so they sound closer to how Malaysians actually say them.
2. Optionally allow mixing: keep directions in English (e.g., “Turn right in 500 metres”) but route‑specific names in a more locally‑accurate Malay‑style pronunciation.
3. Allow users to submit preferred pronunciations for specific road segments (e.g., via the edit/feedback flow) so the community can help refine how names are spoken.
This would greatly improve the driving experience in Malaysia, especially for people who use English UI but drive on roads with predominantly Malay names.Thank you for your continued work on Waze!
Best regards,
YSDear Waze Team,

Robert Irwin
Robert Irwin would be a great voice option and so easy to have a custom vehicle to go with it! He’s a very positive role model and an outgoing personality who has been venturing into different projects!

Have you guys considered putting together an actual w a z e GPS unit so that we do not have to use it on our phones? We would still need something that would connect and show live traffic. I would really like to see a GPS unit come out because I would buy one. I currently have a Garmin and do not like it. I like live updates I just wish it was in its own separate unit so it didn't take up my phone

Make the new arrow position work for those of us using the map facing North
Waze changed the position of the car to allow for more visibility for people who have the map facing their direction of travel, however they completely forgot about all of us who prefer the map facing North.
Now we are basically using 15% of the screen for navigation, the rest is dead space.
Also - whenever we are facing South we can’t see upcoming turns, forcing us to do potentially dangerous last minute lane changes.
This is a major safety concern and Waze needs to address it immediately!1 vote -

Need an opinion for Satellite Mapping
What sets this app apart from other competing apps is its option to convert the map to satellite view, which is the only thing this app lacks to become my number one. I hope it will be added soon.

Final/total destination information including added trip to the existing laid-out route
Feature recommendation: Whenever a rider adds a destination to an existing laid-out route, the app doesn’t display final/total destination information, such as the combined distance and time to the final destination. For example, when I lay a route, I see the total miles and timing to complete the trip, and if I decide to add a coffee shop as a pit stop, it will show the total miles and timing to the pit stop rather than the whole trip. I would like to know what it would mean to me to have a pit stop that takes up some time when I reach the final destination, without losing any time upon arrival.

Asheville Regional Airport
For travelers planning a trip to the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains or the vibrant arts scene of Asheville, North Carolina, understanding which carriers operate at the local airport is the first step in a seamless journey. The search for Asheville Regional Airport reveals an encouraging discovery: Asheville Regional Airport is served by a robust and diverse lineup of six major airlines, connecting this growing city to the rest of the United States and, through major hubs, the world. AVL consistently ranks among the fastest-growing airports in the country and stands as the third busiest airport in North Carolina, having served over 2.2 million passengers annually in recent years. This remarkable growth is reflected in the variety of carriers that have established a presence at the airport, catering to both leisure travelers seeking direct getaways and business passengers requiring efficient connections to major metropolitan centers.

February 27 driving north thru Wrens, Georgia, I was clocked at 46 in a 35 school zone for an $80 ticket. How can I get this permanent camera, operating an hour before and after school hours, logged into the Waze system?. I can send aa copy of the ticket for your input with location details etc. It's been reported they issued 178 tickets in the first week of operation. Picture of the car but not the driver, is this a legit ticket?

Hope Waze Adds 3D Maps
Hope Waze can add a 3D map view like Amap to make lane guidance clearer at complex junctions and highways. This would help drivers avoid choosing the wrong lane.
Since Google Maps is also introducing 3D maps, it would be great to see this in Waze too.

Always show the current street name bubble (even without active navigation)
Currently, Waze only shows the prominent bubble with the current street name when a destination is set. When driving without navigation, we have to look at the map to find small text on the roads, which is distracting and unsafe.
Please add an option to keep the current street name bubble fixed at the bottom/top of the screen at all times. This would greatly improve readability and driver safety for those who use Waze just to monitor traffic and alerts on familiar routes.
