Make the Map Team replies detect the prefer language of the user to send the first message in the user language
Hi, i have noticed that the " Map Team " messages are all in English as default. it would be good if the Map Team can detect the prefer language of the user, and send the message in their prefer language. Specially for example in Miami and Puerto Rico, there is a lot of people that only speak Spanish, so when they get the message in English they wont reply to that message until i send the response in Spanish. so if we can get the Map Team reply message in the user prefer language the possibility of getting a reply will increase. and it will be helpful for both editors and users to get better and proper info and to increase the amount of replies.

Larger Speed and Speed Limit Option Please!
Please give the option to make the Speed Display and Speed Limit Boxes Larger. It is very hard to see due to small size. This would be very helpful in cars like mine that do not have a digital speed display.

Show if a result search is Waze place or Google Maps place
Show if a result search is Waze place or Google Maps place. Sometimes we search a place and shows first the google maps result and in the end of the list the Waze place result. Maybe a G and the Waze symbol instead the pin on results list would be better to know what is what.

update recent / saved drives
A lot of Update Requests come from drivers who are using saved drives for Places that have been updated or changed in the map editor.
Can we make it so after a time period (a month, for instance) the app queries the server for updates when an entry is chosen from the recent/saved drives? Or give a prompt that allows the user to manually update a saved entry, or all entries? "It's been over a month since you've driven here, would you like to see if there have been any changes?"
Also, an option (in the settings or in the long-press submenu) to update saved drives would be a useful tool. The current workflow of deleting it just to search again is rather cumbersome and confusing, and if a drive is saved in more than one place in the app it can sometimes not even be effective…

Stacked Lane Guidance
Ability to map "stacked" lane guidance.
A stacked lane is one where you have one lane turning into two. An example I have is here in Calgary AB Canada, we have a rail underpass that you make a right turn onto, but there is a median between the two lanes (its a one-way) and you need to be is the farthest lane access the left turn at the other side of the rail underpass.
And right now, we don't have the ability to show that the first right lane is "stacked lanes"

Right hand drive vehicles
The current set up on CarPlay is set up for left hand drive vehicles, here in the uk using the report functions is difficult, and also it looks odd that the directions are on the right side of the screen and the map is on the left, it’s difficult to see, please add an option to mirror everything for RHD vehicles, thank you :)

Battery Saver always on
Option to have battery saver always-on by default. It's a poor user experience to have to set this manually for EVERY journey for those that want to have the battery as high as practitable before exiting the car and/or save their OLED screens from burning. Not everyone uses a charger in the car. And most phones use OLED screens.
'Automatically turn on' is there as an option, but it waits for battery to become low before kicking in, which rather defeats the object of saving battery (it's too late if it's already become low!) and meanwile you risk burning the screen too...
I think this idea was rejected earlier, but that was two years ago and the issue persists.

Introduce a Waze for trucks and caravans
Increasingly people are relying more and more on navigation. The app provides the quickest and most direct routes which is great for normal circumstances. However, trucks, Lorrie’s, large motor homes are not taken into consideration. I live near a golf course where a small road crosses the fairways and we are seeing more and more large vehicles on a road which is totally unsuitable for them and can often get stuck. There needs to be a version which keeps trucks and towing vehicles on appropriate roadways. There are ‘caravan related sat nav’s such as Co pilot and perhaps Waze can develop one too.

Large RV and Trucks
Please consider adding large RV and trucks many routes have sharp turns and low bridges. You can charge $3 per month and gain hundreds of thousands of users. I’d happily promote this service for you

Trucker Version
Develop a trucker setting, or perhaps an entirely separate 'Trucker Waze' app for those of us running larger vehicles. We need to know about low clearance overpasses/bridges, narrow lanes and one lane bridges, weight restrictions, etc. For example, I pull oversized trailers up and down the East Coast (USA). I am 14'6" high, and 10'6" wide. You could even buy Trucker Path and add all the Waze functionality...

Rest area icons and an Altimeter
I use Waze literally every time I get in my vehicle. For both local driving and road trips. It would be awesome to have an altimeter on the screen and to have it show rest areas on the map. Maybe in map editing if we could add rest areas and other places with restrooms to the maps that would be great and a major help for travelers.

Take a break on Roadside Rest Areas
When traveling on a highway using Waze, on pulling in to a known rest stop, Waze eagerly tries to get you back on your route. Waze should be able to discern that you've taking a break. Suggestion: when following a route on a highway, and you pull into a known rest area, Waze should pop up and say "Are you taking a break? yes / no"
Upon the user responding "yes," Waze goes into a pause and does not offer any further suggestions, until the phone unit is detected moving at better than 15 mph. This would help reduce confusion on entering a new rest area, such as when Waze advises "turn left" but in a private car you are supposed to "turn right" in that parking lot, etc.
