Disable irrelevant ads POI
I understand ads are the most important thing in your business model, but wouldn't it be better to have targeted ads?
Please allow us to disable irrelevant ads. I'm sick of seeing fast food POIs. I won't go, ever! Give me fancy restaurants instead!

local law icons (like "no-turn-on-red")
I travel a lot for work, and never know basic road rules where I'm at. So I always err on the side of caution. Things like "Can I turn right on a red?", better not.
It would be AWESOME if I could drop a very small little overlay with icons of my choosing for (optional overlay please, with checkboxes if I want this particular feature):
- Right-turn-on-red "green-yes / red-no / grey-unknown"
- Passing-on-right-allowed "<same colors>"
- etc. for other 'odd' little region specific things that I'm sure you'll get 100 suggestionsThey could even be triggered overlays by my speed. If I'm clearly on a highway/freeway it would only show those that are pertinent to the scenario (passing on right). Or if I'm at a stop at an intersection and the navigation is already aware that I want to turn right.
... O Waze deviria avisar todos os locais de radares, indepenente da Speed.
Bom dia,
Moro no brasil, na cidade de São Paulo e uso muito o Waze.
Aqui em São Paulo há muitos radares de velocidade e as multas são muito frequentes.
Minha sugestão:
Gostaria que o Waze me avisasse sempre que tivesse um radar, independente da minha velocidade. Desta maneira tenho a possibilidade de ir memorizando os locais e assim evitar multas.
Este problema de multa por velocidade em São Paulo, é muito grande e se o Waze pudesse incrementar, melhorar os avisos e alertas, iria nos ajudar muito.Obrigado,

Please adjust police icon to not only represent a white male. Just the symbolic hat would work just fine.

Alert of traffic jam to avoid colision
Hello,
Trafic jam must be report as a danger. We need that the voice warn us to slow down before.
Right now the only way to avoid colision is to look at the screen of our phone to see if there a trafic jam. On highway it’s realy dangerous.Thanks

State by state Laws
When crossing state lines, the app would alert you to state laws regarding cell phone/texting, wipers/headlights, toll transponder reciprocity, etc. We discovered the hard way (toll + fine) that Florida does not accept payment from any other states transponder.

Tarhe Traffic (road limitation) in Tehran, Iran
Basically there are limitations on roads that you can have access to during the day in Tehran, Iran. There are areas that you can access only if you have the permit for the day and there are areas that you can access based on your plate ending number. So for example if you have even number ending plate then you can pas from these areas only on even days of the week.
These are issues that waze does not put into consideration while it is navigating and you can easily get fined by passing from these areas automatically.

Add address numbers when arrived
Need to add address (number and street) when on final street instead of saying "you have arrived at your destination". Uber and Lyft drivers use waze and need to know address. We look at mail boxes as we drive down the street. Sometimes the x is not in the same location as the address but we can't see the address.

Correct Multi window (currently pauses)
Can you please allow waze to work correctly in multi window mode.Android 7.1.1 if you have Waze open in a multi-window configuration, it wouldn't actually work as expected. As long as it had focus and was the last app you interacted with, Waze would work as expected, updating your location and orientation on the map. But if you interacted with another app in multi-window, Waze would stop updating until you go back to it.
Similar issue with Google maps which just got fixed:

Take into account holiday traffic
During holidays traffic over here, and i guess in most of the world, is quite different. I do a 100 km round trip every day and I appreciate that waze not only takes into account the current conditions but also takes into account what traffic is going to be like when I eventually get there. But during holidays I have to ignore waze completely or I'll arrive half an hour later because waze is calculating a route taking into account what traffic will be like on a normal working day instead of vacation days. And since waze already takes into account historical date to predict traffic I imagine it would be possible to make it look at the appropriate historical date for that holiday period.

Connect Waze to other apps with IFTTT-channels
Waze collect a lot of useful information throughout a trip. This information could be used to by other apps, if there was a way to connect them. IFTTT is a very popular way to do this. Simple recipes allow for strong applets, in the form of IF This Then That.
Examples:
If I reach my destination, then log my trip to a Google Doc Spreadsheet.
If I reach my destination, then send a notification to person x.
If I am x miles from my destination, open my garage.

Add an Undo / Revert Button to "View History"
Sometimes edits are made not following the guidelines or not reflecting the actual road conditions (the editor thinks what is seen in the satellite imagery / Street View is current).
Since the history of the objects is already tracked, a revert button should be simple enough to implement and can save valuable edit time.

Rotas turisticas nas cidades
O app poderia ter uma área onde encontrássemos rotas turisticas pre definidas nas cidades. Uso muito o meu nas viagens de lazer e a trabalho e acho que seria util a todos. Essas rotas poderiam ser traçadas por locais que conhecem bem a cidade e dando dicas de pontos turísticos e locais para comer, lazer etc. Sem contar que como ela foi feita por pessoas da cidade evitaria locais de risco.

Police
Police alerts are helpful in many ways, the one thing that would help a bit more is if along with the alert there should be an indication of how much time has passed since the alert was posted. This feature is already available but only if you tap on an upcoming police alert icon in which you will see for example 10min ago on the top right corner, but it does not show in the alert that pops up as you drive....... Unless it is a construction site police are rarely in one spot for very long...... I feel that this would be an added benefit to an already helpful feature
Also just to point out, when I tap on an alert icon to check how long ago it was posted, if it's after 1200AM it always says one day ago.... Not a very accurate description.......... Eatra points for out of date fuel
Hi,
I think it would be a good idea to earn extra points for updating fuel prices that are long out of date.For example. Petrol station 1 - fuel prices updated 1 days before - you update them again and you earn 8 points.
Petrol station 2 - fuel prices updated 10 days before - you update them again and you earn 80 points.
Petrol station 3 - fuel prices updated 100 days before - you update them again and you earn 800 points.
This will make users add the correct fuel prices more often to gain more points.
Every one wins.... the updater.. getting more points for going out of their way to update fuel and the drivers as we get accurate fuel prices.

Multi Carburant / Multi Station
Actuellement Waze propose de sélectionner notre carburant ainsi que notre station préféré. mais si l'on a 2 véhicule a carburant différent il est nécessaire de changer systématiquement alors que nous pourrions choisir plusieurs carburants. dans la même optique il serait interessant de pouvoirs choisir plusieurs pompiste (pour selectionner par exemple plusieurs grandes surface) car les pompistes indépendants vende bien plus cher c'est pour cela que j'aime bien l'options de waze quand je cherche de l'essence mais je ne peux pas selectionner par exemple auchan carrefour intermarché pour avoir un plus grand choix. soit j'en choisis qu'un seul soit je dois choisir tout le monde.

Nest Integration - Pre Heat/Cool when going Home
Integrate with Nest. When going Home, Waze should integrate with Nest and start heating/cooling when the estimated arrival time matches the time it takes to pre-heat/cool.
