1. [Request] Allow to make streets two way temporarily

   Allow to make streets two way temporarily, like closures, but the other way around.
   Sometimes construction works require you to open another street and turns. And you cannot do this in time by editing map. You can close the streets, but you cant OPEN the streets for some time. I mean one way or with restricted turns.
   So we need an option to temporarily bypass one way setting and closed turns penalty. This may be called Openers :)

2. Show RPP PUR's on feed list

   There is no privacy issue involved here.

   There's simply a pin in the map, among many others, but I can't find them like any others, just because category is "residential"

   The privacy issues are solved by the already omitted creator/updater of the place. By not showing them, you are simply making it harder for the PUR be moderated, as we have to scan the map or rely on scripts to do that.

   So, plainly: RPP PUR's should be shown in feed list just as any other PUR.

3. Keep previous history for merged/split segments

   Hello!

   I think it would be very helpful if segment history included data from previous "iterations" of that segment, when a segment was created by merge or split.

   Right now, the history starts anew any time there is a new segment ID, but I would imagine it should be fairly trivial to develop a backend mechanism that, any time a segment is split or merged, merges the history of the previous segment ID into the new segment's history.

   This is useful not only diagnostically but also to catch cheaters on the map, who today can split and merge segments at will with no evidence.

   It is very easy to envision how this would work with a segment created by split, as the history of the previous, longer segment can simply be displayed before the "Segment created by split" line, perhaps with the old ID of the previous segment appended.

   For segments created by merge, obviously there are multiple histories to incorporate, but I think it can still be done in a sensible way from a UX / UI standpoint, as follows.

   Right now, the history of a merged segment starts with "Segment created by merge", and the data is lost. In a better implementation, perhaps it looks like this: "Segment created by merge of [segment ID 1] and [segment ID 2]".

   Then, at the time of the merge, the old history of the other two segments are merged into the new segment as well, with the old segment ID appended.

   So, let's say you have segments 123 and 345 from the basemap, each with a few edits before, named "Main St", connected by a node, then you delete the node to merge the segments into segment 54321 (newer segments have much higher IDs!). Right now, the history would be simply,

4. [Segment Attribute Request] Treat 2 Way as Divided

   I would like to have the ability to draw a single 2-way segment but be able to mark it as divided so it does not say you have arrived until on correct side of road. Sometimes you may have a segment that may not really need to be divided into 2 One-Way segments but if you want routing to offer the correct directions you would have to divide the segments. In my picture below, the red line shows what Waze currently does (it says you have arrived as you pass the house) The green line shows what it should be doing. This can be accomplished by dividing but if there was an attribute that says "divided segment" that Waze would treat the 2-way segment as 2 One-Way segments, then we would not have to add extra "unneeded" segments but still give the correct routing.

   I really think this would go a long way in helping when we have just a short segment that is divided along a longer undivided segment.

5. Push questions to communicate with drivers

   A suggestion to enable Push questions (PQ’s) to communicate with drivers in order to solve map problems
   I thought it would be really great if Area managers would be able to send PQ’s to drivers in order to get their help in resolving map problems.
   For example:
   • If I get a UR (in an area with low traffic) suggesting that a right turn isn’t enabled anymore and I want to verify this I might need to wait a long time until someone else will send an additional UR.
   • Or if a road is suspected to be closed and I want to verify it before issuing an RT closure.
   In such cases I would issue a PQ in WME.

   This PQ would be sent to drivers (who marked in the application that they are willing to get such PQ’s):
   • In the area
   • In a route crossing the location
   • In a route not crossing the location but suggesting them a small re-route to check the issue.
   There are many variants on how to realize this suggestion. For example it could be realized by enabling a pre-defined set of questions in WME were you only need to update street names.
   Also in order not to disturb drivers too much they can set in the application how many such PQ’s they are willing to get in one day / route.

   Is this idea something that Waze devs are thinking about?

6. [Request] Map Comments Expiration Notification

   When a Map Comment (MC) has been entered and is nearing its expiration (2 weeks in advance or 1 week in advance), notify and/or place a note in the Feed of the expiring MC.

   This would allow the editor to verify if the MC is still needed, extend it, and/or reconnect road segments where a long-term project may have warranted segment disconnects instead of long-term RTCs.

   If roads were disconnected and the project is nearing completion, this would allow the editor to reconnect the segments and then add RTCs so routing could occur immediately upon the completion of the project instead of waiting on a tile update.

7. [REQUEST] Feed Filters

   It would be very nice if we could filter the feed by notification types (more or less like URO+ does, but without having to reload the feed several times to find the ones you selected).

   Options suggested:

   Notifications (checkboxes):
   - PURs (and subtypes);
   - URs (and subtypes);
   - PMs.

   Areas:
   - State XX (particularly useful for SMs and CMs);
   - Areas driven [last XX days];
   - Country (useful for CMs);
   - All editable areas.

   Those above are what I miss the most. But, since we're at it, some extra suggestions would be:

   Listing reason:
   - Reported by you;
   - New comments on an issue you follow;
   - An issue you follow;
   - Around a favorite place.

   Sort by:
   - Time open (asc/desc);
   - Number of comments (for URs) (asc/desc);
   - Distance (of current shown position).

   Some other thoughts about this suggestion are welcome! ;)

8. Split Place

   After the succes of the Merge Places feature I would like to add a request to Split Places.

   There are instances where wazers add a photo to a place that is not related to that place, but something nearby. At this moment we don't have a choice but to reject the photo. I would like an opportunity to use it to create a new place.

10. Incluir combustibles del vehículo y mostrar en ruta las gasolineras del combustible seleccionado.

    Creo muy conveniente poder elegir el combustible de tu vehículo y que mostrará las gasolineras en la ruta seleccionada, con un rango de "x" km para poder marcar la gasolinera y automáticamente recalcular la rupa para llevarte a repostar y seguir la ruta. En mi caso uso GLP (principalmente) y Gasolina.

14. Opção de correção de trajeto em tempo real

    O app deveria ter uma opção de correção de trajeto . Pois tem rotas que o app me manda dar a volta no quarteirão ao invés de só seguir reto como se o restante da via fosse contra mão. Isso me atrapalha muito, pois sou motorista de aplicativos.

16. Not all fix speed cameras are recorded and there is no feature to report this, this only one close to is a police patrol which isn’t correct

    I want a feature to be able to alert others on waze when a speed camera/ fixed isn’t on the map
