Add my GPS speed data into "Your Drive" drive sessions
It would be nice to see my speed over the road segments in the saved sessions in "Your Drive" and probably color code the segments where I was too slow or too fast for the speed limit on that segment. I think if I am reviewing my drives and found that there are colored segments, I could probably easily tell that the speed limit on that road has changed and suggest and update to the maps. Or at least have a proof that I was a good boy and didn't speed up.

Update 'Actionable URs' filter
Update the logic of the 'Actionable URs' filter to show all actionable URs regardless of the number of consecutive comments left by the reporter. The UR should remain in the "Actionable" feed as long as an editor has not yet responded

Add Permanent Hazard for Causeways (Fords / Dangerous Dips)
I would like to request the addition of a permanent hazard type in the Waze Map Editor for Causeways (Fords / Dangerous Dips).
In many developing countries, mountainous regions, and jungle areas (such as in Nepal), national highways and rural roads frequently cross seasonal rivers or streams via causeways rather than bridges. These sections of the road are prone to sudden water accumulation, standard flooding, and severe dips that can damage vehicles or pose a significant safety risk to drivers who are unfamiliar with the terrain.
Currently, local traffic authorities recognize these as permanent, high-risk road features. For example, Nepal…

New filter "Older than" should apply for URs with no comments
The new UR filter "last comment time: older than: should apply also to those URs with zero comments (automated comment). This way we could monitor URs with automated comments that have not been answered yet by an editor after x days.

Suggestion: Display Lane Guidance When Driving Without Active Navigation
I would like to suggest a useful improvement for the Waze app, especially for driving without an active navigation route.
Currently, when a user is navigating to a destination and approaches a complex intersection or a multi-lane junction, Waze displays the lane layout and highlights the recommended lane for the route.
My suggestion is to display similar lane information even when the user is driving without active navigation.
When approaching a multi-lane intersection, Waze could show the available lane directions on the screen, for example: left lane for turning left, second lane from the left for left turn or straight,…

Show Google POI uploaded photos in Waze Map Editor (WME)'s Google Places tab
Currently, Waze Map Editor (WME) allows editors to view and edit Google Places (POIs) and submit names for approval. This is an incredibly helpful feature for keeping our map aligned and accurate. However, one crucial piece of data is missing: the user-uploaded photos attached to these Google POIs.
We are requesting the ability to view these Google POI photos directly inside WME (for example, in the Google Place details panel when a Google POI is selected or linked).
Why this is needed (The Value)
Better Visual Verification: Names and locations can sometimes be ambiguous. Being able to see photos of…

Allow saved nested community schedules (not just at the School Zone level)
There are 2 useful ways saved nested community schedules could be used.
- Exemptions
Currently the only way to apply an exemption schedule is do it in every school zone, if you remember. If we could apply the exemption schedule to the community schedule, then it would automatically apply wherever that community schedule is set on a school zone.
For example, we have a state level exemption schedule for public holidays where schools are not open. This exemption schedule needs to be applied to every school zone in the state. It is easier to maintain one list, than to add those…

Person on road" to Hazard Reports (On Shoulder)
Currently, there is no specific option to report pedestrians or people walking along the side of the road. When driving on narrow suburban or rural roads that lack sidewalks, encountering people on the shoulder represents a major safety hazard.
Many users currently use the "Animal" or "Object" report as a workaround, but this is neither accurate nor clear for oncoming drivers.
Proposed Solution:
Please add a dedicated "Pedestrian" or "Person on shoulder" sub-option under the Hazard -> On shoulder reporting menu. Why this is useful:
Safety first: It would instantly alert drivers to slow down and pay extra attention, which…

Request: Add adjustable handle size as a standard WME feature
Hi Waze team,
The handles for roads and Places in WME are currently very small, which makes them difficult to grab accurately.
Beginners often struggle with precise editing, and even detail‑oriented editors would benefit from being able to adjust the handle size to match their workflow.I would like to request that WME include the following as a standard feature:
Larger default handle sizes, or
A setting that allows users to adjust handle size
Adding this feature would improve usability for all editors and reduce frustration, especially for new contributors.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.6 votes -
Include Permanent Hazard (PH) changes in segment history
Currently, when a Permanent Hazard (PH) is added or updated in a segment, no record is created in the segment's history.
Ideally, changes to their attributes should be tracked, but for now, recording when they are added or updated would be very helpful.

Add "above number of days filter since reported date" to Issue Tracker
This idea is similar to https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59225-map-editor-suggestions/suggestions/48574424-add-above-number-of-days-since-last-comment-filt
The main difference is to add "Above number of days since reported date” to the Issue Tracker.
The reason is to find URs that Waze auto-responded to and sufficient time (e.g. 4 days) have passed and there is no response from the reporter. so we can do a follow-up response. Without this filter, we have to keep changing the end date in the area section (above the Update Request (UR) dropdown) of the Issues tab.

Show Permanent Hazard edit count on the editor profile page
Currently the editor profile page has the House Number edit count listed twice - the duplicate could be replaced with a total count of edits received from editing all Permanent Hazards. There are lots of hazard types now and editors would enjoy knowing the impact they are making by mapping them!

Notify on severe delay on regular route
Sometimes we drive the same route home every day and dont notice water routing specifically to avoid a major traffic jam. Would be helpful to receive specific notice that we are going a different route for a very good reason

Issue Tracker: Add options to "area" and "last comment by"
When using the issue tracker, to make searches more practical and useful, the following options are missing:
1. When specifying last responder, we need option to mark "Not me" as sometimes another user may add comments to a UR he didn't report. Right now, there is no easy way to select these URs.
So, all options for last comment by should be: Anyone, Reporter, Me, Not me.- The search area should have the option "not in managed areas" as a checkbox or other way. When we scan for URs in a large are in "Specific area" (le a country or…
