Improve adding and managing RPP by showing numbers and entry points
When adding house numbers in rural areas, we often end up using a mix of HN and RPP. It would help quite a bit, if the entered house number and the routing end point were visible without selecting a RPP, the same way it shows for HN. Currently the only way to check is to select the RPP, but it would be nice to have an overview available at all times.

Street View Time Machine
Street view function on WME does not always show the latest pictures, it would be useful if we have Time Machine.

URs: Simple reply form to provide more detail
As most editors will attest to, the rate of receiving follow-up details from users who submit URs is still very low. When we follow up and ask for further details, I'm sure many users click on the 'View Report' button in the e-mail intending to reply, but are then put off by the fact that they have to go through a clumsy process of logging in to a WME interface they probably haven't used before (which is not optimised for mobile phones, and if they haven't previously logged in to WME they have to go through two layers of security…

Feature Request: Mobile-Friendly Interface
Hi Waze Team,
I am writing to suggest developing a mobile-optimized interface or a dedicated companion mode for the Waze Map Editor (WME).
Currently, making quick map edits or adding house numbers while on the go requires a desktop setup, as the desktop editor is very difficult to navigate on mobile browsers—even with "Desktop Site" enabled.
A mobile-friendly editing mode would greatly benefit the editor community for several reasons:
Real-Time On-Site Verification: Editors could easily fix house numbers, street names, or missing turn restrictions while standing directly in front of the location, ensuring maximum accuracy.
Higher Community Engagement: Allowing editors…6 votes -
Allow longer Event Name character count
25 characters is simply not enough for most events. Abbreviations are not possible. Examples: "Merdeka Eve Celebration 2026", translated into Malay, "Sambutan Ambang Merdeka 2026", and some official marathon names I've come across, and ending up not adding these to the event calendar at all for these events.
Suggest to allow at least 50 characters, I believe that would be more than enough.

Show in WME whether a pollution-episode restriction polygon is currently active
In France, Crit'Air restriction polygons (named for example "CritAir HighPollution Grenoble") are switched on and off by Waze staff when a pollution episode starts and ends. Editors can see that a polygon exists. They cannot see whether it is currently active.
Here is what that cost us, on the record:
- 24 June 2026: differentiated traffic is activated on the Grenoble metropolitan area and around Vienne, in Isère. Only Crit'Air 0/1/2 vehicles are allowed. The polygons are switched on.
- The episode itself ends within days.
- 21 August 2026, nearly two months later, a local editor happens to notice the restrictions are…

Better WME ranking system
It is very hard for newcomers in WME to be able to contribute as much as they wanted due to the ranking system that doesn't allow to do much at first. It is very hard to get to at least level 3 which allows to alter some segments in the driving area and it is almost impossible without hunting for missing POIs or stuff like that. There aren't always many editors with higher ranks and sometimes they can get overwhelmed by the editing tasks and opened map problems.
There should be a better system in place that would allow newcomers…6 votesGreat thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

Multiple sets of hours
Add the capability for editors to add multiple sets of hours for an establishment. This feature would be especially beneficial for banks and pharmacies. At banks, ATMs are often open 24/7, while human tellers, consultants, notaries, and other banking personnel are not at banks 24/7. At pharmacies, the convenience store and the pharmacy itself mostly have different hours. Finally, there are some establishments with delivery hours and/or drive-thru hours that differ from the establishment's standard operating hours.

2D Hazards
I'm not sure if this sort of thing will be covered in Permanent Hazards development, but it would be very handy to be able to define an area polygon to which a hazard report would apply.
To me, the obvious application would be for prolonged construction zones where roads remain open but users ought to be made aware of an issue ahead.
How I see this working:
An editor would draw a polygon over the affected area and then choose a hazard type and add an optional comment to the polygon. It should be possible to define schedules and an…6 votes -
Better history for place update
Hey,
in place edit history, it would be nice to have more details on PUR : the only status is accepted or rejected.
Maybe it is not easy to tell what photo was refused or a refused change name, but it would be nice to know what was the updated fields (was it about adding or removing a photo, rename the venue).by kpouer

Show RPP PUR's on feed list
There is no privacy issue involved here.
There's simply a pin in the map, among many others, but I can't find them like any others, just because category is "residential"
The privacy issues are solved by the already omitted creator/updater of the place. By not showing them, you are simply making it harder for the PUR be moderated, as we have to scan the map or rely on scripts to do that.
So, plainly: RPP PUR's should be shown in feed list just as any other PUR.

Remove Two-Way Segments
Two-way segments are very rarely necessary and are very often overused by map editors to oversimplify maps. Even the smallest "two-way roads" have at least one lane dedicated to each of the two directions. Having each segment representing a single roadway will permit maps and navigation that are more intuitive to the users of the app, and perhaps help avoid the tendency of editors to try to combine separate roadways into one segment.

Suppress Live Map Overlay
Recently a change to Live Map introduced an overlay and call to action footer with information on how to download the Waze app when the URL contains a permalink to a location.
(Image attached)
While this is great for users that have not yet been introduced to Waze, map editors do not need to see it every time they open Live Map from within WME. Fortunately, if the following query string parameters are appended to the URL, both the overlay and call to action are suppressed:

Enable Undo after Save
It happened to me a couple of times. I deleted and element, clicked Save, and then understood it wasn't the element I meant to delete.
It would be great to enable undo changes that have been just saved.

Update Request Submission Time
The submission time listed for URs SHOULD indicate the time the reporter clicks the report button in the app, NOT the time it is submitted/sent. The timestamp of sending is not as important as the timestamp when the button is pressed (i.e. for verifying Time Based TRs)

Subway station elevation
There should be a feature that would enable editors to include the elevation of a subway station as they can do with PLAs.

100 gas, fuel station price list update suggestions
Hello dear Waze Team,
I am contacting you because I’d like to suggest some features to be added. As I am a gasoline car user who always fills her car with 100 octane gas, I’d like to see prices of that as well in the price list at fuel stations. I’d also add a menu for updating prices by seeing the info page of the station.
Thank you for your consideration.
All the best,
Hanna

Please integrate postal codes with actual addresses in Singapore
I have a hard time syncing my new postal code with my address. The address shows the proper position on the map. But the postal code brings me to a different position. When I highlighted this issue, the Waze map editors said that they are not able to make the change, and that postal codes were out of their domain.
Postal codes are the main way that people search for addresses. If the postal code points to the wrong area, the app is not accurate. If Waze is serious about using crowd sourced information to improve, why is linking up…
