  1. Restricted areas: L5 users can restrict Rank 6 segments

    With restricted areas, a level 5 (or Level X user depending on what the final level will be when released in production/country setting) could currently add a restriction to a level 6 segment.

    Steps: find a rank 6 segment, draw an area on it => The segment is restricted.

    This may be a WAD (similar to closures for people who have closure permissions), but it's still risky and lowers the protection of the rank system. If the user deletes the area restriction right after the map update, the problem cannot be identified without staff intervention.

  2. Implement reCAPTCHA v3

    With the recent release of version 3 of reCAPTCHA (the thing you may get to see when you log in and the system suspects you may be a bot instead of a user), it would be a great idea to upgrade to the latest version. We've had several users who have had to fill in the CAPTCHA protection every time for some weird reason (I suspect someone in their neighbourhood is to blame), which could be alleviated with the new system.   3. Allow taking a Place picture from Streetview

    Requirements: the Streetview panel is open and the place layer is on

    Then: allow creating a box on the Streetview panel. When a box is drawn add a bar saying: now select a place to apply this picture.
    Add an X on the box to delete it. Allow the user to resize the box.
    Set a minimum size and a fixed ratio (the one used by the client) for a decent resolution.
    Drawing a new box removes the previous one if present.

    If then the user clicks on a place, ask him:

  4. Recommend change link for Parking Lot Operator Fixes

    The "Add an operator to the list" link under parking lot operator selection makes it sound like you can only add new operator names.

    Once you go to the link you see that the form is actually for more than additions; "Use this form to add, delete or replace parking lot operators that will be shown in the Client."

    Recommend changing "Add an operator to the list" to the following "Operator list change suggestion". If you want a second line "(Add, Delete, Merge, or Spelling Correction)". This is more descriptive of what the form can actually do.

  5. Tag URs with "Not Following"

    I tried finding a post that described this problem but I could not find it, in case there is one, it can be merged to that thread.

    tl;dr Add a tag to URs when the user is not registered or not following a UR.

    Not long ago ronsek57 told me that users, who just opened the app and never registered, are able to send URs but they never receive any of our messages asking for more information. I tested that on three URs (IDs 11946180, 11946458, 11946459), I am not adding permalinks because they already disappeared from WME.
