Not to mention raised railroad crossings where low flatbed tractor-trailers will get caught needs to be available for truck drivers!

Additionally, it is also a hefty fine if a single occupant p (except properly license plated alternative fuel (other than gas or diesel), or battery powered) vehicle fails to leave the HOT to HOV lane in the transition area and continue to drive n the HOV lane.

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

Having grown up in a region where school zones are active from 6 am to 6 pm, and now live where school zones are active for two hours for school opening and closing times, people who are not familiar with the times for the school zones, I strongly believe in the need for this.

In the State of Georgia, it is illegal to continue to moving, when a funeral procession is passing. THAT INCLUDES ON FREEWAYS AND INTERSTATES!

In many urban areas (Including on the Freeways and Interstates) and in some suburb/rural residential areas, Tractor trailers are prohibited from roads or certain lanes of Freeways and Interstates, either for bridge weight restrictions or to try and keep local commuter traffic moving. The truck drivers need to have a warning that they will be entering or are leaving a Truck Restricted area, for the sake of the commuting public’s safety.
