An error occurred while saving the comment The function is very old. Back then, when cloud storage was still in its infancy, a lot of data was compressed very small to save storage space. Waze uploads data with an estimated 16kbits. To have a good HD Audio quality you would need at least 128kbits. Someone would just have to change it with 2 clicks. I think waze has enough cloud storage thanks to google.

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
