My variation on this is being able to keep up to date with lane usage. On my freeway to the cross Sydney Harbour, the Warringah Freeway, there has been major works going on for it must be 2 or more years. The speed limits are not showing correctly, but more importantly, WAZE is not showing the correct lane configuration (which also can be time of day dependent) for the current three main pathways (2 via the Harbour Bridge and 1 via the Harbour Tunnel). I took the wrong lane on the Harbour Bridge based on the direction and had to go via the city rather than skirting the city. Fortunately I had put some buffer time in my travel.
