Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

Create a feature to hide the speedometer, and give the speed limit a bigger display. Google Maps has this feature, where you just tap the screen where it is, and the speedometer will hide away, and it'll simply show the speed limit. Waze team, this obviously has been asked for for over a year now, it shouldn't be so difficult to roll out in a future update. I'm enjoying your app far better than Google Maps so far, but I honestly would go back soon if this doesn't get fixed.
