An error occurred while saving the comment Ed Ellks (EdFromOhio) commentedThe most recent update I've heard related to truck-specific info is that Waze isn't going to do it.
There are too many legal issues involved, not to mention editing would be a nightmare. You would have to know the weight limit of every segment, the height of every bridge, width restrictions, hazmat, time-related restrictions for certain trucks, etc. Not only would you have to do that in the map, but you would have to enter your truck's current weight, height, etc. into the app.
There are other solutions that already exist, but they aren't free.

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

There are several good methods of preventing image burn-in that Waze should investigate like pixel shifting or moving icons a bit each time. I have 2 Premium (expensive) phones with the report icon burned in and just got another $1k phone.
