In-app segment appearance for Unpaved / Pedestrian segments
As of now, different segment types almost all look identical in Waze. Offroad / unmaintained already have has its own look, so it would seem logical to get a visual differentiation for pedestrian segments and unpaved roads.
- Unpaved roads could get a "speckled" or '"hashed" look (https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box/suggestions/46149703-show-unpaved-roads-differently-in-app).
- Pedestrian segments could look just like on the live map.

Show route shields in the current road name bubble (bottom of screen) during navigation instead of plain text route numbers
Currently in Waze, the current road name displayed at the bottom of the screen during navigation only shows plain text (e.g. “M1 - Monash Fwy”) without the road shield symbol while route shields already appear in other parts of Waze (map and directions), but not in the current road bubble, creating inconsistency.
This suggestion is to display the route number as a proper shield symbol within the current road name bubble, instead of it being in plain text with a hyphen next to it. This will help reduce the clutter in the current street name and allows more room for…

Option to Delete Waze Chats
Right now with Waze Chats we only have the option to ( clear chat/ Block person or Mute ) so even after clearing the chat only the conversation disappears but the chat window stays always there, right now there is no option to delete Waze Chats from the Chat panel that have no reply or are not relevant anymore, as we mostly use this to reach out to new editors.

level 4 & 6 mood

Could you add the mood of the editor in levels 4 and 6 in WME to the client Waze for different visiblity on live map because they are the best.
An editor can choose differents moods editor when he wants not just the dinosaur for levels 5.

Creacion de mas categorias e iconos para lugares // Creation of more categories and icons for places
Desde que en waze se pueden crear lugares a los que poder ir, he notado que hacen falta mas categorias (como existen en Google Maps).
Por ejemplo no existe categoria para residencias de ancianos, o inmobiliarias, tampoco existe la categoria de vivero o pizzeria, estanco tamo. Creo que habria que añadir categorias para poder diferenciar mas los lugares, ademas habria que modificar los iconos ya que no puede tener el mismo icono una fabrica y un hospital.
Por ejemplo, una farmacia tiene un icono tipico, al igual que los hospitales.
Deberia dejar tambien poner el logotipo del tipo de estacion…

As first responders, we frequently close roads or lanes due to motor vehicle accidents, fires, downed trees, and other hazards. Currently, Waze allows users to report road closures, but only at intersections. Many incidents occur between intersections, making it impossible to accurately report the actual closure location.
I propose a "Verified First Responder" reporting feature. Using an existing verification service such as ID.me, Waze could grant verified responders access to additional reporting options, including:

El año pasado paso lo mismo y duro 7 días , pero está vez va más tiempo , hice el reporte y la respuesta fue que lo desactivaron que escriba acá a ver si en la próxima actualización lo resuelven ..... La gente está descargando APK con versiones antiguas de sitios de dudosa procedencia para poder escribir y leer las alertas .... Señores por favor esto se necesita urgentemente

Organize bookmarked addresses into user-defined categories or lists
I frequently travel for work and visit family in different regions. It would be really nice to organize addresses into separate lists so that I am not hunting through a ton of addresses to find a particular place.
Maybe those lists act like dropdown menus or something? Idk, but being able to properly separate and categorize addresses as opposed to simply reordering them would be helpful.For instance, one could put work-related addresses into a list, friends&family addresses into a list, a list of addresses I'd only bother with when visiting family abroad, so on and so forth.

Announce a speed camera even when not speeding

Old vanessa voice(french)
Please give us the old Vanessa voice(french). The new voices are horrible. I can't use the app with the new voices. They are all horibble. Why would you destroy something great(the voices that were before)?

Remove shortcut
The short cut from Hwy 327 to Hwy 76 directs beach traffic down a notorious and dangerous road called Old Marion Hwy. There are signs telling beach traffic to stay on 327 yet the app like others contradicts the signs. There are school busses and train tracks not to mention deadmans curve. Please remove the shortcut before someone else gets killed on this two lane hwy that gets over 8000 cars a day on average. Google shows where many have been fighting to make the road safer. Options for economical routes / shorter distance routes
It would be good if waze did something similar to google maps where it shows you the fastest routes but also shows you a more economical route that may take a bit longer but saves distance or saves fuel a bit.

Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)
Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.
