Vehicle mode selection when confirming route
I am aware there is a motorcycle mode in settings, however like many others, I often switch between motorcycle and car, it would be really handy to have a button or drop down menu to chose the vehicle type when selecting your route rather than having to go into settings each time.

show public transportation routes
We're in a climate crisis and everybody should drive less when there are alternatives available.
Waze should help with that by suggesting Public Transportation or bicycle routes when selecting a destination, when those routes are viable alternatives (don't bother showing a 3h bus route for a 10 min drive).
This could be similar to Google Maps and use the same data.
Just by showing that there are alternatives, the user might be tempted to try them.
This might be specially useful when driving in cities that have car restrictions, dedicated bus lanes or good bicycle infrastructure that rivals congestion, where…7 votes -
Driver Avatars/Icons
Gamification in apps like this can incentivize consumers to increase usage of your app. More frequent users ultimately increases your revenue from advertising and other potential sources. My idea is that you should incorporate a point/coin system that rewards users for driving miles using Waze. These points can then be used to buy avatars and icons in place of the boring arrow that represents the driver. The more points you save up, the cooler avatars you can buy. Potentially, the points can be used for gift cards and other rewards that you may come up with. In the end, this…

Changing lanes
As a qualified driving instructor I very much like your app. However, when instructing to change lanes, your instructions often come too late often leaving the pupil straddling lanes or prevented from changing lanes. Advance warning is needed.

Hola mi nombre es Marco Muñoz, mi sugerencia. Una opcion y poder elegir que tipo de vehiculo llevamos, por ejemplo: camioneta mas carro de arrastre, asi poder buscar calles mas amplias para giros. Saludos

For Right Hand Drive countries, give directions from the right speaker.
I live in a RHD country and the directions from Waze come out of the front left hand speaker - which makes perfect sense in the (majority) LHD countries, but is quite hard to hear in certain circumstances.
Either the sound should come equally out of both front speakers or it should be localised so that in LHD countries it comes out of the left speaker, and in RHD countries it comes out of the right speaker so it's closest to the driver.

maximum speed
I use waze with different vehicles so that the
personalized ETA is still wrong when changing from car to moped. Entering a maximum speed for my current travel or for each vehicle type would be very useful.7 votes -
When reporting police please
When you report police you should be able to have an icon for rbt and rdt (random breath test and drug test) 100% this would have a massive impact on who uses the app

Hazard warning. Remove the option to say 'still there'. It is unecessary and distracts when looking to say 'not there or gone'
Remove the option for 'still there' when hazard is flagged up. 'Gone' is the only option required!

Modificar formato en posición horizontal
Utilizó waze desde mi teléfono celular. Al girar la pantalla y utilizarlo de modo horizontal, los alertas, tapan gran parte de la visión del mapa, incluso la velocidad de circulación y máxima permitida. Ideal corregirlo por indicaciones más pequeñas o reorganizar posiciones de dichos alertas.

Le compteur de vitesse fonctionne bien mais pas les alertes. Particulièrement si on dépasse la limitation de vitesse très doucement.
Pourriez vous ajouter ,en choix multiples l’option de déclement de l’alerte 5km par heure avant la limitation de vitesse. Et juste à la limitation de vitesse et pour tout dépassement de la limitation.

Notice on passport needed
Please give a notice when routed through another country where a passport is needed. We were routed through Canada and didn’t realize it because it wasn’t called out. We did not have our passports with us, so had to change our route at the last minute which added miles to our drive.

Actualizar precio de combustible GLP Perú
Una falla en la App no permite reportar el precio actual de GLP en las gasolineras. Dado que en Perú han cambiado la unidad de medida para despachar dicho combustible (se vendía en LITROS y ahora se vende en GALONES). Por este motivo, al querer actualizar, por ejemplo, de 2.69 el LITRO a 9.89 el GALÓN la App dice que " el precio ingresado no parece válido" y no permite la actualización de precios. Por tal motivo los precios de combustibles están desactualizados. Espero que se solucione pronto, ya que afecta a todos los usuarios del Perú.

User Reporting - initial and more details
Add an option to email reporting user for more details when creating the report. The long press on report currently gives options for Police, Hazard and Traffic. My suggestion is to add one for 'email me' where the user can provide full details when they are not driving. Navigating to the Report, finding the correct option, before finding the Later option is not safe when you driving.
As editors, there are a lot of reports with minimal detail. Posting a request for the submitter to provide more details rarely gets a response.

Road closures can be reported but unlike police, other reports you can't say that its not actually there. Need this feature added

To navigator an have Spotify all in the screen would make this a usefull app while drivning.

Create a free instruction in case of change of name on a freeway
On a freeway, when the name changes without the direction changing, there is no voice instruction that is appropriate. We can only use a "Continue straight", which we might hear miles earlier.
My suggestion is, inside the Visual instruction, to have a free instruction available, which in this case could be "You are entering on A7". Why in Visual instruction? Precisely to avoid hearing the voice instruction miles earlier. Since the Visual instruction is not subject to propagation, make sure it is useful, which is the case here.
