Saving fuel and increase brake pads lifetime
On German highways there are often speed limit changes from unlimited to 130km/h or less. So if I drive for example 200km/h and see the speed limit sign and i go completly off throttle and my car reduces speed to about 180km/h until i reach the sign. So I have to break fast from 180 to 130km/h or less. This is big wear for my brake pads. To get a longer lifetime of my brakes and to get a smoother driving I wish to get a message 1 or to 2km before the speed sign (only on highways when speed…

Faciliter l'avertissement de voie fermée
Bonjour,
Serait-il possible de mettre en place un système de détection de voie potentiellement fermée ?
Dans le cas où x (à définir) automobilistes n'empruntent pas la voie indiquée par Waze, afficher un bandeau avec les proposition [bouchon, route fermée, ras(choix personnel)].
Car il peut être compliqué d'indiquer la raison pour laquelle nous n'avons pas pris la route.
Suite aux manifestations "Gilet Jaune" dans la région bordelaise, des sorties de grands axes étaient bloquées par la sécurité routière, il nous était impossible de les emprunter mais était indiquer comme accessible par Waze.

Please fix lower Wacker gps issues in Chicago!!
Everytime I get near/ on lower Wacker drive in Chicago, I lose GPS and maps goes crazy! Even after you guys installed the beacons. They were of no use! Please help out!

Rue des Martyrs in Paris is now a walking trail from its beginning to rue clauzel, indicating it as a road induce people to commit offences repeatedly and in itself it is an offense, in order to avoid any criminal pursuits you must change the street use immediately

Klingon Localization
Hey Waze, on behalf of the klingon waze team, I'd like to ask if it would be possible to add klingon to the localisation project. We have already made a waze voice in klingon, and would enjoy working on a full localisation! Qapla!

Mutual location
It will be perfect if we could plan a route, connect on the map with the other driver friends on the road.
Example: 2 buddyes, 2 cars, same destination. By being connected to each other on the map, we could see each others location.5 votes -

What happened to your app? It used to be so good and now hardly ever works. The gps can never find my location no matter what phone i use.

Mark overtaking lanes on back roads / B road highways
On minor highways (in Australia at least) they are often one lane in either direction, with the occasional overtaking lane being two lanes in one direction, one in the other.
These can be 10km+ apart and aren’t signposted until they are close.
It would be nice to colour indicate these lanes on the map so the driver/passenger can see if it is worth waiting to overtake a vehicle in the single lane road or wait until the safer overtaking lane15 votesThanks for your feedback. לא רעיון, אלא תלונה. ביום 15 נובמבר 2018 שעה 8:25 בערך, וויז נתן לי מסלול מרח׳ טדסקי 3 בירושלים לקרית ספרא אוניברסיטה עברית ירושלים. המסלול וההנחיות כללו נסיעה במסלול מיועד לרכב ציבורי בלבד בדרך חברון לכוון רח דוד רמז. וזאת כאשר מסלול זה מותר רק בשבת וחגים. כתוצאה מזה אני ועוד מספר רב של נהגים נעצרו על ידי משטרת התנועה וקיבלו אזהרות וקנסות.

My account was completely wiped out this morning. I use this EVERY DAY. My history gone. Miles gone. Favorites gone.
Give a notification and give an option to work on changes later, not as I am trying to get to work. Why was my account wiped out?

I believe that many users are not aware about "Inbox" - this is important for editors waiting for followup on URs.

Zoom - integrated car displays (Android Auto)
The zoom functionality is awful currently when using Android Auto with an in-car display. Google maps allows easy zooming using the rotatable knob (identical and in line with volume on a VW). Can this become a feature for Waze?? It's so distracting and dangerous trying to zoom when driving, a quick turn either way (like Google maps has) will be much better.

Use Waze to automatically alert drivers of approaching emergency vehicles
With siren detection software incorporated into Waze, the feedback would allow drivers to know that there is an approaching emergency vehicle. Drivers would know what direction the emergency vehicle is traveling and where they are with respect to the Waze user. We have developed this siren detection software.

Enhance speed display color scheme
It would be easier to assess speed with more informative color coding:
White = below speed limit
Green = speed limit
Yellow = between speed limit and user-defined "when to show alert" speed
Red = exceeding user-defined "when to show alert" speedKeep current warning with briefly displayed larger speed limit reminder

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
