Tammy Dombeck - The Gridlock Buster
I am nominating my beautiful bride Tammy Dombeck to be one of your voices. Tammy was the Traffic reporter on the NBC affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth for 14 years. After she left, she spent 3 years at the CBS affiliate as their morning and afternoon traffic reporter. We live in Fort Worth and I commute to Dallas during the week so I have been using yoru app for a couple of years. Love it. What I do miss is seeing and hearing Tammy give her traffic reports. I would pay a few cents to Waze at every turnpike for such comfort.

Vocal instructions only on highway
I turn off the vocal instructions because it's really annoying when you are in a city (you have instructions everytime).
But I would have the possibility to have the vocal instructions on the highway because when you travel far away, the time fir the next exit to take can be really long and so, you don't remember to take a look to waze and I missed my exit a lot of time.

Add the option in "Event mode" to create places for particular events that would last a short period of time (Festivals, fairs, etc) with the ability to be self-extinguished after the event had ended.

Olá venho por meio deste e-mail, solicitar que os desenvolvedores do app retire a função de informar ao motorista uma possível blitz da polícia. Esse tipo de informação prejudica o serviço de inteligência da polícia que levanta informações sobre o índice de roubo e infrações que determinada via possa a ter. Isso corrobora para que motorista inabilitados e menores de idade tenha acesso facilitado pelo app e possam saber as localizações exatas onde cada blitz da polícia ou de agentes de trânsito se encontram dificultando assim o trabalho das instituições que cuidam e zelam pela manutenção das leis outorgadas pela…

Distance to next maneuver sent to car's Android Auto capable head unit
While running inside Android Auto, it would be nice if Waze would send the distance to the next maneuver to the car's head unit.
For example, while Google Maps runs in AA, on the car's instrument cluster and heads up display the next maneuver can be seen, including the distance to it. When Waze runs in AA, only the next maneuver can be seen, without the distance to it.5 votes -

Two days ago Barcelona suffered a terrorist attack. Police is still looking for a guy, but if people can repport where every police control is, this info useful yo avoid this controls.
I m not talking about deactivate this alert permanently. But sometines, maybe during 24 or 48 h if there is a police operation called " Cage " could be usefull if you can deactivate this alert in a area.

Need ability to plug in stops by hours or miles for long trips
Would love ability to plug in stops by either miles or hours along a route from Michigan to Florida. Then, show hotels, restaurants and gas stations at those stops. I had to get driving directions from Grand Haven, MI to Naples, Florida. I wanted to take 2 1/2 days to get there. I currently had to download each state I would drive through, then find out the distance to certain cities that I wanted to stop at after 8 hours on day one, then 8 hours on day 2 then drive just a few hours on the last day to…

Report accidents to an insurance company through waze
When someone reports an accident, give them the option to tag or directly contact their insurance company.
or use waze to report your own accident to notify the insurance company.

OPT OUT OF NOTIFICATION EMAILS (and all social aspects)
I never, ever want or need a message in my "inbox" from Waze letting me know how many people I've "helped". I participate to ensure the data in Waze is timely and relevant for my fellow drivers, but I want to completely OPT-OUT of EVERY AND ALL social aspects of Waze.
So, please, please, please… let me opt out from all messages. I don't want them; I don't need them.

Do not ask to rate the app when car is moving.
There have been numerous times while driving where I need to open the Waze app to navigate somewhere and have had to take the time to close the "Rate Us" screen.
I do not think this should never pop up if the car is moving. Not a whole lot different than preventing typing while driving as it does distract a little more trying to see where to close it or, if someone accidentally touches the area to go rate, then they have to go back to start navigating.
