Les escribo desde República Dominicana, donde es muy común el uso de vehículos que funcionan con Gas Licuado de Petróleo (GLP). Sería de gran utilidad que la aplicación incluyera la opción de visualizar estaciones de GLP y sus precios, tal como se hace con otros tipos de combustible.

Homer Simpson
I have voted for the request for Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin to be used as voices, posted under ‘Navigation’. Despite it being a request made during 2019, it is a pity that nothing seems to have been done about it. Of course, not withstanding what seems to be an automated response regarding it being added to the “user requests” list.
What is the protocol regarding these things? Would anyone that is authorised to elucidate us please consider explaining?
Seriously… who doesn’t want to hear from Homer, every time we miss a turn, or not follow his directions, a “D’oh!”?…

Display actual GPS speed and not car’s info
When connected to CarPlay the speed on the supposedly gps speed in Waze always shows a 1km/h difference compared to that on the speedometer (at least in my case)
When NOT connected to CarPlay the difference is larger. At 90 km/h on the speedometer the speed in Waze is 85 km/h and at 140 the speed on Waze is 130. (Actual GPS speed)
When connecting to CarPlay a message says that the phone will use selected data from the car and this includes the car’s speed. However, this value is not accurate.

Improvement
I’m a regular Waze user and I really appreciate how the app helps me plan my drives. However, I’ve noticed there’s no option to fine-tune the arrival time in smaller increments—like adding an extra 5 or 10 minutes to account for parking or walking time after I arrive at my destination.
It would be incredibly helpful if a future update could include more flexible arrival time settings. This would let users plan for those little extra minutes we need after parking, ensuring we truly arrive on time.

Shade
In honor of hot car month
Is there a feature to select parking lots with shade at this time? If not can one be generated by user feedback and AI rendering of public parking maps? It would be best to show which parts of the lots have shade. Along with marking multi lot parking garages that have shade and multi level building parking. Buildings that offer shade and based on the angle of sun to predict if the user will have a good percentage of shade during their park.1 vote -

Fun route options
The app can give a route suggestion for more economical fuel use by showing a leaf on the route when selecting which route to take. My suggestion is to have a "fun route" option that can have a symbol associated with it that focuses on fun roads, curvy, elevation changes, etc. for those who want a fun drive and care less about fuel economy or fastest route.

Manual mode - route option for manual cars
The app already has an option to avoid hazardous / complicated intersections. My suggestion is a manual route mode that avoids large hills or road hazards that may be more difficult given a manual transmission.

Debe haber una forma de reportar rompemuelles, aunque sí aparecen en mi ruta la mayoría no se muestran, muchos rompemuelles están en las esquinas y el sistema no los detecta.

Add Air Pollution level nearby, with data from Nafas
It’s important to know the level of air pollution when you drive to somewhere especially in emerging countries like Indonesia. Sometimes when open car windows you can smell smogs, you can prepare masks before going out of car

Add School as a Category
Currently, there is no way to program School as a main destination. We have WORK and HOME, but no SCHOOL. This is a huge oversight., With so many of us working from home, driving the kids to school is the majority of the driving we do these days.

Add option to search either for nearby options OR for options on route
When you're making a trip and realize you're low on gas, it's nice to add a stop at a nearby gas station. However, waze just lists stations on your route (or only stations nearby when using android auto for some reason). The user should have control over whether the search is for nearby options, or options on-route.
