I have an idea! I want Waze to develop an app that all US users can access that will help with Homeland Security.
I would love to see Waze develop a "WazeWatch" app that would allow users to post terrorist activity or home land security issues. If someone with the app see some suspicious activity they could put is on the "WazeWatch" app and all of the "WazeWatch" app users in the area could be alerted to the perceived threat. Then others in the area could agree or disagree with it. The real threats would be noticed by hundreds of citizens and they could take action and call the police, stop the activity before it can escalate or evacuate.
Imagine the mass shooting…

J'ai remarqué en roulant dans différentes voitures que la vitesse indiqué par waze est toujours inférieur d'environ 7 km du compteur de la voiture, quelle est la vitesse réel, vous ou le compteur.
En cas de litige sur la vitesse, puis-je me fier à votre vitesse ?

Hey, Waze. There seems to be a problem with IOS 9.1 on Iphone 5S for Version 4.0.1.1.
When Bluetooth is connected to car, and the voice directions override the radio, after the voice direction, the radio remains overridden and the Iphone starts to play from the Itunes library rather than going back to the radio. This is a pretty annoying bug because you have to switch back to the radio on the car. This did not happen prior to IOS 9--it would automatically switch back to the radio when the instruction finished.

Problem with your new version
Your new version requires me to re-establish favorites, then it doesn't allow me to enter them. Recommend you fix that. I've entered my "work" address 6-7 times, and it never registers. Ditto home. All my favorites have been blanked out.
Best I can tell, the new version has effectively disabled the "favorites" function.

Sound output in a new iOS version not working
Please fix sound output in a new iOS version: Bluetooth/phone speakers. Sound is set to phone speakers, but goes to Bluetooth after recent update. I listen to the radio, not Bluetooth (bt is on for phone calls and the car is connected), as a result I do not hear Waze sounds - missed turns, missed notifications and trip alerts.
Please fix it, this feature was so useful while working :)

linking with emergency services
Ask waze users if his phone number could be given to emergency services if they need information about an accident. Maybe even a first aid (wo)man option

I switched iPhones about a month ago. Still using waze and adding points by reporting and also map editing. I have lost about 300 positions
Although i'm earning lots of point by driving , reporting and map editing I've lost and continue to lose about 20 positions aday in the rankings. I've lost over 300 so far. what can be done?

Incorrect mark spot
Sometimes when we encounter police or accident, it takes time to get to the phone and load the app to mark the spot. Most of the time, we mark it about 2 miles after the actual spot. I suggest to edit the mark forward or backwards to ensure accuracy. Also adding cancel button when adding the spot.

The waze road map should be horizontal not vertical to allow for the cell phone to chargehorizonal, but it is vertical o
The waze map needs to be horizontal as it once was. When the phone is charging and you are using Waze, the phone can't stand verically due to the charger at the bottom of the phone. So it is difficult to look at the map.

" Other" option
We could have an " other " button for the Hazards, so if the Hazard you have isn't listed there, you can just write the Hazard that occurred, and others would know!

Prevent Traffic Accidents with warning with alerts of critical local
Using big data on accident history, you could help prevent traffic accidents, warning of the points in which there were more accidents at considering local time too !!!!
I would be very happy to see it being implemented in the Waze because in Brazil the number of deaths in traffic accidents is high.

Hey guys, what if you can upload a photo or a 10 seconds traffic situation where you at right now so people can see it.
I have this idea so people can share what they are experiencing right now on the road through either pictures or a 10 seconds video and that video is pinned on the map where it was taken because sometimes in my personal experience waze takes time to update its traffic highlights situations.

Improve visibility for congested roads
The new waze changed the congestion indicator to be a thin red or yellow outline of the route. Persons over 45 are having a difficult one seeing that thin line. I basically cannot tell where there is congestion without having to wear my reading glasses whilst driving. The old version I could see it clearly as it changed the whole road color. Maybe an option for us with farsighted issues.
