Route default to map view instead of list view
I understand my route more if I visually see it. The default to showing me the list of routes is kind of annoying because I always want to see where I'm headed versus reading where I'm headed.

Flooding (Inondation): route modification
More & more extreme climate phenomena occures. In this context, the current proposed routes are sometimes crossing flooded areas, which is sometimes impossible to go through. I would like to propose an evolution of the flooding alert to have two levels:
- a first one indicating that we could face issues, but the routes is still valid (~ current alert)
- a second one, indicating the road cannot be used & so generating a new route computation by Waze, to avoid it. (New)2 votes -
A restricted road that shouldn’t be navigated
I have got a PCN because of Waze suggested driving through a restricted Road in Fulham Peterborough road o/s side of 90 Clancarty Road. Please do not suggest this road in the future.

estimation based on the gradient of the route
Implement fuel consumption/energy expenditure estimation based on the gradient of the route. Currently it does not take into account whether the route contains uphill or downhill slopes. In many cases a route can be more efficient if uphill slopes are avoided or efficiency can be improved if it is downhill. It can also be very useful for bicycles, trucks, etc.

En este caso me refería a Quito en especifico pero si implementan esto seguro ayudaras en muchos otros lugares...
Como sabrán en Quito existen muchas lomas y algunos usuarios tenemos motos eléctricas y dando un ejemplo por carcelen bajo hay una loma alta alado del parque ecológico...
Entonces me gustaría saber si podrían poner para que la gente que sepa más rutas avise...
Esta calle tiene una cuesta... una ruta alterna mejor y menos empinada seria por acá... y asi para en el caso de las motos electricas se daña la batería por mucha fuerza y me gustaría tener otra…2 votes -
Add an "not accurate button" on the map
I approached a large circle and Waze instructed me to make a left turn. That was not clear for that overly large circle and I went into the wrong area. Better to have said turn into the 4th opening. Also, while driving in another place, it told me to turn too quickly when another turn was shortly after. I think it would help if there was a "not accurate" button on the map that could easily be pressed so WAZE could investigate the route and correct it. כמו במפות גוגל שיש אפשרות להוריד מפה מראש שכוללת את כל המפות העדכניות וכן את בתי העסק כמו תחנות דלק שאם אני רוצה להתחיל ניווט ללא אינטרנט שתהיה לי אופציה לטעון מסלול.. כרגע נותן ליטעון מסלול רק במקומות שכבר ביקרתי אבל בלי מפה מוכנה למקום חדש.. וכן זמן מדוייק להגעה במצב אופליין.

add option to chose toll gates
an: I wish there is an option to chose the toll gates , if there are multiple tolls and i need to choose one . more over update the tool which is free on sunday .
also add option for the free tolls ( eg maktoum bridge) so that people can go through the toll, even though it is routed avoid tolls

select locations to avoid
Click a specific location you want to avoid (dangerous, long light, frequent traffic, personal reasons, etc). If you can click to add a stop to a route, you should be able to select a location and say Avoid this (Just for this trip, Save to un-favorites list, or Always avoid). Currently I have to add a fake stop to trick Waze into rerouting around a known bad spot.

2 ideas for routing
Have an option to base economic routes on the cars MPG. It would basically be googles econ route but made tailored to your MPG rather than on car average. Another thing would be to add traffic lights and stop signs to account for on the trip.

Comment on Road closures and detours
On Thursday night I was driving from Cremorne NSW to Bulli NSW. At approximately 7:30pm, I was navigated to drive down Bulli Pass, but there was a detour in place, and I had to continue on the freeway and detour and double back to Bulli.
How come Waze didn't know about this detour? How can one report whilst driving, that there is a road closure in place and detours set up?2 votes -
Put the avoid freeways option on the route page. Stop hiding it.
Avoid Freeways option needs to be moved to the routes page. Make it as easy for us to change as the avoid tolls is.
Right now you have it buried and it takes a few clicks to get to it. And we all know that Waze does not give alternative routes UNLESS Avoid Freeways is turn off.

Street number recognition
It would be great if Waze took you to the street number entered and not anywhere in the street. It is especially challenging on long roads, or if it's a t -Junction and you don't know whether to turn.left or right.

More stop routes
Guys such a basic feature which all of your competitors has is more stop routes with function of dragging them upper or lower by driving sequence. Common I love Waze and lack of this function is pushing me to use competitor app for navigation which I hate to use but I must to.
