Rally Mode
I use waze while i’m doing some “spirited driving” and having a rally co pilot saying right 3 blind over crest would be amazing and really help improve road safety and enjoyment whilst driving

Backup and Restore Destinations
Hi i would like to suggest a backup and restore function in case a emergency reset situation is needed that would normally wipe all earlier routes. And you only see favorite destinations .
My suggestion is a way to backup and restore your route info and favorites so you will always have all former destinations you have been to in the past

The other day, while driving in an area I already knew well (Aprilia) after a tiring day, I blindly followed the navigation instructions. Sugiero agregar una funcion para evitar rutas en mal estado. Ej: calles peligrosas, baches, calles de tierra. No siempre queremos solo la ruta mas rapida, si no una que sea segura. En Argentina es muy comun encontrar calles en mal estado, por lo que deteriora y rompe el vehículo

Shared Route Responses
I suggest adding more options to the respond que once someone shares their route with you. Currently, "Thank you" and "I'll be right there" generally don't make sense when clicking on their icon on their route. "Thanks - Drive Safe" or "See you soon!" or maybe, "Bring Ransom Money/ Beer/ Milk/ Candy." 😊

Rerouting should respect road class: please add a "prefer major roads" option
I have a long daily commute, usually two to three hours behind the wheel, and I use Waze every day. I'm based in the UK, but I think the issue below applies anywhere Waze operates.
The problem is how Waze reroutes around congestion. As soon as there's heavy traffic or a road closure, it drops me from major roads onto very minor ones: narrow single-track lanes where traffic in both directions shares one lane, often with no street lighting and no passing places. My car is mid-size and these lanes are simply too narrow for it. At night I've hit…

Automatic rerouting requires one to break the law in many places to cancel it and should be optional
The app automatically rerouting to a different shorter route is incredibly annoying and dangerous. It defaults to choosing the new route if you don't touch the button to reject the new route. Considering the fact that operating a phone while driving is ILLEGAL in many places, including my home province, it is ridiculous that this feature cannot be disabled. This is the one thing that prevents me and many other people from using Waze more regularly. I would like to suggest a feature that would make Waze's route selection much more useful.
Currently, Waze will normally recommend the faster route, even when the time difference is very small and the faster route includes a significant toll.
For example:
- Route A: 42 minutes, no toll
- Route B: 40 minutes, $6 toll
Waze will normally choose Route B because it is faster, even though I am paying $6 just to save 2 minutes.
I don't want to completely disable toll roads, because sometimes paying a toll is absolutely worth…

Rerouting
Rerouting. STOP IT. We pick a route for a reason. Maybe someone is afraid of bridges or tunnels. Maybe there is a fear of heights. Or maybe we know that we want to avoid a bad area of town. We cannot choose a route to do those things with assurance that it will not change. I'm aware that there are good reasons to reroute. But we need an option to automatically accept or deny a route change. It is not safe to stare at a Waze screen waiting for a popup to select NO for a reroute. I do not…

Commercial Vehicle
Due to having A work van I would be amazed to see a commercial vehicle feature where the speed limit sign is reduced on single (50mph) and duel (60mph) carriageways
With this feature it would be nice to have a function where you can put weight and height and width dimensions in and the route chosen avoids bridges and tunnels that commercial vehicles are unable to use
I believe that it would also be nice to have early announcements maybe as an option where it will warn you of a camera early in advance

stop changing routes
Please add an option to disable Waze from changing your route as soon as you start driving, I specifically choose routes that are a couple minutes longer as I hate certain roads yet it’s useless as as soon as I set off Waze has already changed my route and put me back onto the way I didn’t want to go, this is really frustrating and definitely the worst part of the app

Add “Ask Toll Road every time” and fix “Avoid difficult intersections”
Shall we have the option to choose if we want to go Toll Road or not every time we search for a route? Currently we only have “ Toll or No Toll”.
And the option “avoid difficult intersections” shows an even more difficult route that coming out from a small street turning into a heavy traffic main road. Avoid difficult intersections should mean use the intersection with traffic lights that having a clear “stop-go” decision. If the route asks you to travel small quiet street then get across the heavy traffic main road, it’s NOT easy at all. It’s Dangerous.

Implement a user-selectable feature to inhibit re-routes that won't save more than nn minutes
Simple. Provide radio buttons for Settings that will allow one to inhibit re-routes unless they will save one a minimum of some number of minutes; e.g., 5-minutes, 10 minutes

Fix your stupid app so you can plan a route from a starting location where you aren't
Fix you app so you can plan a route from a starting point different from where you are at. Supposedly your app allows that in iphone, but I'm either the stupidest person alive, or it is so un-intuitive it's ridiculous. I have spent hours trying to figure it out. Could you make it any more complicated. I hate waze today.
