Remove candy noises
The stupid candy and noises are insane i really would love to know who developed this app and how it is even road safe. Drivers are distracted enough with out their phone making stupid game nosies. Driving isn't a game please remove this from your app or at the very least make an option to shut if off.

Alerts for mobile speed camera - separate from the police
Currently whenever there is a mobile speed camera everyone just selects the police alert. This is incorrect here most the time in NSW, Australia, as the mobile speed cameras are run by a different organisation. The alert should show that it is a mobile temporary speed camera and should make the speed limit clearly visible.
This would stop people having to spam the police alert, making it more useful to be able to trust that the police icon is actually likely a police car.

Pick and choose specific alerts
I'd like to be able to pick and choose alerts. I find that hearing "approaching a railroad crossing" every day on the way to work is just annoying. I'm thinking to myself "no ****, Sherlock". Really, the only thing I'm concerned about is where the smokeys are hiding.

Seeing other that need assistance
I thought it would be helpful to have an Assitance request in Waze, but I wondered if there could be a feature instead of me requesting assistance for me if it could be for someone else. Also, there was a stretch of highway where I did see someone on the other side pulled over, trying to alert for assistance. I was wondering if that could be a future feature. By the time I got close to the off-ramp to drive the other way, it already was 30 minutes, and I decided to keep going because I was hopeful that maybe…

Waze has the framework to potentially help avoid chain reaction vehicle accidents
I have been studying chain reaction vehicle accidents for years and I belive that Waze may have most of the architecture already in place to alert drivers not yet at the accident scene to slow or stop, which would minimize or eliminate the wreckage, injuries and deaths that occur when low-visability causes vehicles to continue running into a crash site, creating a chain reaction accident. My request is to communicate with one of your engineers to discuss the concept.

School zone speed notifications
A notification as simple ad "approaching a school zone" would br highly beneficial. It would help wazers to slow down in time.
Just like the "approaching a railroad crossing" notification enhances safety while driving this would be a highly beneficial addition to the waze map.7 votes -
Show Alert distances again
Recent update removed the distance for all alerts (e.g. accident in 0.4 miles). Now you have to look closely at the map the to see where it is. Very distracting and unsafe!

Limitation vitesse jeune conducteur
Bonjour

Make option to alert BASED ON TIME BEFORE TURN or action as well as DISTANCE.
Alerts based on time ahead of action are more human-centric and based on driving preparation and reaction rather than based on distance alone. Add TIME-BASED as an option for alerts. (E.g. 5 min, 1 min, 10 secs before turn.)

Aviso radar siempre
Buenos dias.

Consecutive alerts within a short distance
At the moment, the Waze app provides alerts (such as hazard reports or speed/red light camera) approximately 400-500m away from the location. After driving past the report or camera, Waze doesn't check if there are any further alerts in the next 400-500m and as such, drivers miss out on this information.
An example is at the first traffic light, there is a red light camera, however after turning, the next traffic light (assuming it is relatively close/within 500m) also has a red light camera. Drivers currently only receive one alert for the first red light camera but not for the…

Dangerous car against traffic
hello, I think it can be useful and very safe to put a "vehicle in the wrong direction" among the dangers that we can report on the road. in this way it would help and immediately reach other motorists, preventing possible accidents. thank you

Detour update
I use Waze everytime I travel. It's a great app and very user friendly. However when it sends you on a detour (ex: because of construction or an accident ahead), it should say why it's changed (why your taking a detour) your original path. I was traveling by myself over night and didn't take the detour, because I was uncomfortable and unfamiliar with the detour it suggested) to take and got stuck in a construction traffic jam.
