While talking in the car I often miss the prompt. You should have a warning signal prior to the prompt so it isn't missed.
A beep or some sort of signal prior to the prompt would alert you to the upcoming prompt.

Roadside assistance
Add an option for drivers to report they need roadside assistance and drivers on route will get a notification on the matter.
The assistance could be anything from help changing a tire or the need of jumper cables etc... I also think that a good incentive is to give waze points to drivers who stop and help...
Really think this is an easy to do update that will help people in need (the whole point of waze is a social navigation app...)13 votes -
Turn notification before you've passed it!
This morning I reviewed my route and when I got to a turn I knew I was supposed to take, no notice. So I paused IN TRAFFIC at the turn and nothing. So I drove a few hundred feet, THEN it told me to turn - way past the street. Don't know why it does this sometimes and not others, but it's really frustrating. I don't want to make the turn in the event I've been rerouted because of traffic, but I don't really need to add time to my commute either.

Classificação de bairro no waze ( Perigoso ou Não)
Meu nome é Veronica de la Hoz, moro em SP - Brasil e estou muito triste com o ocorrido no RJ este final de semana e eu moro na Al. Júpiter 39, no Condominio Jd. Iolanda e um dia o waze me mandou para traz do condomínio que não tem saída e onde é perigoso é uma comunidade onde há desmanche.
A minha sugestão é nós mesmo classificar os bairros como perigoso ou não, ou classificação de perigoso,assim como classificamos com transito ou não.

Mapeamento Personalizado de Áreas de Risco
Como o mapeamento público e para todos os usuários, de áreas de riscos, poderia trazer problemas e ensejar o ajuizamento de ações judiciais contra os desenvolvedores do aplicativo, por preconceito ou discriminação, gostaria de sugerir que, ao invés do Waze mapear os locais, ele pusesse a disposição dos usuários uma ferramenta que possibilitasse ele próprio fazer o seu mapeamento, baseado nos seus conhecimentos atuais e os que venha a adquirir sobre as áreas de risco e esse mapeamento ficaria disponível somente no seu aplicativo e no seu aparelho, evitando-se assim que algumas pessoas se sintam discriminadas publicamente por serem taxadas…

Inclimate conditions mode.
Inclimate conditions mode would route you using more major roadways that have likely been salted or plowed. Not necessarily all highways, but keeps you on major routes that get priority from road depts.

State what the alert is for
preferred version that stated the alert (object on road/car stopped on shoulder etc) so I don't have to look at the device to determine why it is alerting me. Also would like a way to touch screen to give thumbs up/confirm without having to look at device.

תכנון מסלולים מורכבים ושיתופם עם אנשים אחרים
מתן אפשרות לבנות מסלול בווייז (waze) של כמה כתובות (יותר משתיים), שנקודת המוצא היא לא בהכרח המיקום שלי
ואחרי שבניתי את המסלול אני יכול לשלוח לינק במייל או בהודעה למי שצריך לנסוע במסלול איסוף הזה.
בכל פעם שהרכב האוסף מתקרב לאחד מהיעדים, המערכת שולחת הודעה למי שאמור להיאסף שתי דקות לפני שההסעה מגיעה, כדי שירד למטה (כמו גט טקסי) וגם יום לפני (שעה משוערת)
מה צריך בעצם:
שה״אדריכל״ (מתכנן המסלול), יזין כתובות איסוף, שעת הגעה נדרשת/שעת איסוף נדרשת, מספרי טלפון של האנשים הנאספים, יגדיר נהג איסוף, יגדיר יעד סופי2 votes -
Have voice speak "Heavy" or "Moderate" or "Standstill" traffic ahead.
Need to have verbal notification of heavy, moderate and standstill traffic ahead. Not safe to look down at phone to see traffic ahead

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted. Thanks!

On a long drive it'd be handy to be able to see:-

Modo Viajem
Ola, seu aplicativo é otimo! gostaria de apresentar uma sugestão! um modo viajem, onde quando por exemplo duas ou mais pessoas iram viajar ela possam formar um grupo e um passa a ver o outro no mapa, na estrada se um se afastar eles possam se ver, e tambem possam enviar textos curtos como por exemplo, ! "entrar no proximo posto" obrigado

Bring back the happy/sad Waze icons that used to appear in navigation alerts!
We're really missing the happy/sad Waze icons that appeared in the route update notification. Perhaps I'm not using the correct name of that feature, but it's the notification that sometimes appears during a navigated/guided route that alerts you to either building traffic up ahead/delay or a faster route identified.
The updated version of Waze (at least in iOS) no longer includes the happy/sad Waze icons, which is a shame! We loved that cool and creative addition. It's one of the many creative features that separates Waze from other navigation apps.
Please bring back the happy/sad Waze icons! =)

Don´t take for the average the motorcycle speed
In all the countries, are motorcycles drivers using waze, when there´s a lot of traffic, they go faster than the cars, I was thinking that the speed of the motorcycles don´t matter, for this important reason it doesn´t have to upload the speed to the waze servers.
When we open the app, it could be a question: are you usen a motorcycle? or a car?, or it could be a setting too.
The information that is upload for the motorcycle drivers are impacting to the ETA of the rest of the drivers!!!!!!!!!

Signalements zones de contrôles état d'urgence
Bonjour,
En raison des récents événements tragiques qui touchent la France et nous heurtent profondément, l'Etat d'Urgence a été décrété par le Gouvernement, ce qui signifie que durant n'importe quel contrôle routier, les véhicules ainsi que ses occupants peuvent être fouillés.
Il serait nécessaire voire primordial de bloquer la possibilité de signaler les zones de contrôles routiers et barrages de polices aux utilisateurs afin de ne pas permettre aux personnes ayant un lien avec ces actes de barbaries sans nom, d'être au courant de ces actions coordonnées et rendre facile la découverte de personnes impliquées de près ou de loin…2 votes -

I love the app use it almost every day!
I have several ideas to improve the Waze app.
• Bring back the police and on road icons, this enables us to see relative distance to reporting
• Allow mobile and directional reporting of police
• Allow inside or outside lane reporting of hazards
• Post reports of police both directions as we have officers who wait in median
• Allow directions to closest officer for emergency use.
• Allow return to normal speed after clearing of congested roadways

Different phrases for the same message.
Waze should have multiple phrases for the same message. For instance, when C3PO is saying turn left master. It could say turn left with a different voice. This way the voice app wont get annoyingly repetitive to listen to.
Also, another idea would be to have different voices for different speeds, when you are going above 50 miles per hour, it could be an X-wing voice.
HILARIOUS idea: have a useless and unintelligible directions reader like: R2D2 beeps, and chewbacca yells.

use past traffic statistics when calculating routes
waze could save statistics about average time it takes to pass each street at different times of the day (but only on work days - not vacations or weekends where traffic patterns are different). this past statistics can be valuable when routing - today, waze could lead me through areas that are more congestion prone since at the moment these areas are quite vacant. using past statistics when routing would show that by the time I'll get to these areas, there'll probably be a congestion so other paths might be better.

give the possibility to create unofficial voice, which will be implemented if several criterion defined beforehand are acquired.

There are many occasion in which I use Waze to find routes to places I don't know. Also, there are occasions in whch waze suggests alterrnative routes to escape traffic.
There are many times that Waze directs me to streets and places that I have never been through. When I look at the complete list of directions, many times the list contains street names that are actually completely meaningless to me, as I just don't know them. It would be nice if a a feature could be added that allows me to click on a particular item of the list…2 votes
