Road Avoidance
A way to tell Waze to avoid certain roads in the app, similar to tolls etc. but any road of my choosing.
I sometimes drive vehicles that can’t go down some roads and it would be really useful to be able to tell the app to never navigate me down roads I tell it not too.7 votes -

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi, depuis un certain temps, lorsque l'on signale des travaux de grande envergure et qui durent depuis plusieurs mois, les signalements disparaissent tout le temps. Les signalements sont sur des grands axes et dans des grandes villes... Mais disparaissent alors que mes reports sont confirmés par les autres utilisateurs. Waze diminue en qualité depuis plusieurs mois. Il n'y a même plus de contournement proposé pour des grands embouteillages.

New (105) PHONE DETECTION CAMERAS in Capital federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina
From today 1st February of 2023. Starts the funcionality of 105 NEW PHONE DETECTION CAMERAS. In Capital federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Waze Will Even someday update this new CAMERAS? Only alerts about speed CAMERAS but not the new ones.

Control how much time an alert appears before the event.
It will be great to have an option to control how much time before an event, it would alert us.
When you are at a highway, the alert appears 2 or 3 seconds before the event.
I think we should choose between 2 seconds and 30 seconds before events.2 votes -
Searching for gas stations and food
The Waze feature to search for gas is nearly useless. It shows stations hundreds of miles away, not on my route near my location. As a result we use Gas Buddy or other apps when we would prefer to do this in Waze. Many people have been asking Waze for this. Why has it not been implemented yet?

Alerts
Can you change the alerts so that cameras are warned at any speed nit just when at speed limit or above. Many times I've approached under the speed limit, had no audible warning then my speeds increased as I've got closer

Is there an issue with waze?
I use mine via android auto, and the last few days, any alert I get, on the left hand side, will not clear until I cancel route and restart
Waze was last updated 6 days ago and was working fine before

Add a "Not a Hazard" button
Too many people report cars parked in rest stops and small divots as hazards.
If there was an option to report back to the user that the car or pothole they reported as a hazard shouldn't have been.
The button would compliment the "still there" and "not there" buttons and maybe notify the original reporter if (say) 3 or 5 "Not a Hazard" reports came in.
Users that continue to report incorrect hazards could be blocked from reporting for a month or so.

Portrait mode improvement
Needs a desperate redesign of the portrait view for phones, it can't be that the search bar and "my waze" thing take half of the screen, just make some small icons, you still have to tap on the search bar and on the "my waze" to interact, so might as well give the space to what really matters, the map view, I use portait mode all the time, on my car and motorcycle, as I can set the phone as low as possible to keep the field of view as clear of obstacles to my sight as possible

Sharable lists for locations
Would like a feature similar to Google maps where I can input work sites and then share with the rest of the team. We all use Waze for getting to sites however this feature would be so useful.

Mandando seguir para uma rota fechada!
Perdi 1:30 no percurso porque estava indo de São Paulo para o Litoral num domingo a noite, a rodovia Imigrantes estava fechada, e o Waze só fazia o percurso por essa rodovia, assim fiquei dando voltas e mais voltas devido ao app não trocar a rota pela única possível. Me gerou muitos problemas

Sugestia mea ar fi ca la calcularea rutei ce urmeaza a fi parcursa de catre un utilizator, acestuia sa-i fie indicate de catre waze si statiile de carburant preferate, pe care le are in drumul lui, sau in apropiere. Si nu numai la calcularea rutei, ci si in timpul condusului pe acea ruta. Pe mine m-ar ajuta mult acest lucru. Conduc mult1 vote -
Customize Your Route
There should be a way where you can customize your own route, especially if you want to take scenic routes that you might not know the directions, while having the same benefits that Waze offers (navigation, police, traffic, etc).
I was just on a drive that I took six different highways on my own before meeting up to the Waze route and I had to turn my Waze off because it kept re-routing me to the "fastest" route... If I was able to plan my route and customize it to the route I want to take, that would be awesome.…
