Show slow traffic in yellow or red
Even if users don't send a notification of slow traffic, if the system detects that a few users are slowing down, change the display of the road to yellow or red. Currently, on the 118 freeway there are some spots about 2 miles long that are very slow, however Waze shows normal.

private roads
Add an option like "Allow only private roads I have driven" or "Allow only private roads in my address book" so that Waze will avoid private rounds for which a user is not authorized.

Hey, Waze. There seems to be a problem with IOS 9.1 on Iphone 5S for Version 4.0.1.1.
When Bluetooth is connected to car, and the voice directions override the radio, after the voice direction, the radio remains overridden and the Iphone starts to play from the Itunes library rather than going back to the radio. This is a pretty annoying bug because you have to switch back to the radio on the car. This did not happen prior to IOS 9--it would automatically switch back to the radio when the instruction finished.

Recent Changes resulted in worse routes
I commute to NYC daily through crazy greater NYC traffic and Waze saved me time by always great routes. Whatever changes have been implemented over the last few months have completely ruined the route selection, or criteria used to determine the routes. They are often wrong, sending me far out of my way. But when I run Apple Maps in parallel with WAZE to test these routes, they are always incorrect and take longer. The product was perfect and made me switch from MAPS. Now performance is so bad I need to switch back to MAPS in order not to…

Olá. Percebo hoje uma eficiência muito grande do app na busca por locais ao invés de endereços. Ex: Bancos, restaurantes, etc. Penso que seria interessante que quando vc fizer a busca por um local, que ele abra um link pra vc ver feedback de pessoas que já estiveram naquele local. E essas informações poderiam ser tomadas das pessoasl que fizeram as pesquisas e navegaram até o local. Ex: eu pesquiso um restaurante chamado "O BRASAO". Deniss from forum suggested this idea: Waze should have Help Me Button, so a Wazer with car trouble can set his icon as needing assistance and another Wazer can see a fellow in trouble on map and help him out.

Driver Safety Points: auto-reply to texts, speaker/bluetooth calls only, and speeding alerts.
It would be great if, when you signed into Waze, you were prompted to click on Driver or Passenger. If you are the driver, Waze puts the phone into drive mode, and it either auto-replies to texts with one of five pre-set messages (set up in settings), or it becomes completely voice activated, so it reads your incoming text aloud and allows you to respond via voice only (also set in settings per driver preference). It would be great if I could replace my cars inbuilt TomTom satnav with Waze.
It runs off Andrioid so hopefully shouldn't be that hard.

Interval Tone for Speeding
Pls provide a setting for interval tone warnings for a selected speed threshold - ex. if/when I go >/= 70mph give a tone every 5/10/15/30 seconds. Doesn't have to be anything fancy - a simple beep or boop will do.

Clear active selection as soon as a new road is inserted
When you insert a new road and try to connect it with a selected segment the result is a 'No connection at node B'.
This behavior is very bad for new editors.
Besides that, a more experienced editor has to do extra actions to clear the selection before inserting a new road.Wouldn't it be possible to clear the active selection as soon as a new road is inserted?

Habitual Report Cancellers get banned from cancelling
Police and Photo Radar vans are using Waze to cancel Police/PR reports on the map as Wazers report them... I believe these habitual "cancellers", ie the people who only report things as "Not there" need to be blocked from reporting things as not there. I am sure your system can recognize people who only report things as not being there...
