  2. Speedometer size in Landscape mode

    Please enlarge the speedometer in LANDSCAPE MODE [portrait is fine] and preferably make it movable. Barring 'movable' just enlarge it. Got a bit older you see [not 20 any more] - it would be very useful if I can see it properly - double the size would be good [or custom] :) TY (y)

  3. Make Waze Less Cute

    We are not children. I am not in kindergarten. Why is every icon so **** cute? Why would a driving app be designed with an aesthetic that would be ultimately most pleasing to toddlers? Can you at least allow themes? Or at least a few different stock ones? I don't want to feel like I'm playing Pokemon when I'm driving. Please.

    Stop using 1,000 feet to describe every single next turn coming up. We don’t know how far that is. Use “three stoplights” or some other descriptor! Please!

  10. App closure after Apple CarPlay shutdown

    Please fix the app so it automatically closes after the car shuts off with Apple CarPlay. It used to do this until about 6-12 months ago. It’s annoying that Waze stays running when you get out of your car, draining your phone battery.

  11. Do not cancel driver reports for mis-taps

    Suggestion: Do not dump Wazers completely out of the reporting process because of a mis-tap or error.

    Problem solved: Prevents Wazers from having their attempts to help totally aborted due to mistakes, which is discouraging, frustrating, annoying, demoralizing, and may discourage Wazers from submitting future reports.

    Discussion:

    When a user opens the report feature on a mobile device, they are presented with a collection of icons to choose from. If, because they are driving and trying to pay attention to the road, they happen to miss the target and accidentally tap the space between icons, the report display cancels out.…

  12. use speed limits to cap estimated time to destination

    It seems to me that Waze uses the average speed of traffic to estimate the time to the destination of the route selected. However, this is not very useful to me if the average speed of traffic is greater than the legal speed limit. While I may be okay with exceeding the speed limit under certain conditions, I almost always prefer to know how long it will take me to get somewhere if I drive at most the legal limit. From there, I can make my own decision as to what route to take or how fast to drive.

  13. Stop cops from reporting “no longer there”

    If a vehicle hasn’t moved for a set time (ie a cop doing a speed trap) don’t let them report “no longer there” or remove the icon. If other wazers are moving on the road, but the one cancelling reports is not, suspend the account. Especially if they are cancelling multiple reports from different wazers in the same area.

  17. Leave later time should consider route choosen

    When you plan a drive to leave later, the time suggested to leave before the time you need to arrive, is always considering the fastest route (or the first option). Imagine you get 3 options of routes, if you choose the option with no tolls (slower), then you choose to leave later option, the calculation is made with the fastest option presented before (and not selected), but should consider the option selected.

  18. Verbetering app

    Goeie app, zou nog beter kunnen, fietsstraat blijven aangeven binnen fietszone (fietser niet inhalen), zoals trajectcontrole. Geluidsmelding meermaals blijven herhalen bij snelheidsovertreding. Voertuig kunnen ingeven welk milieunorm, zodat deze op uw route automatisch rekening kan houden met LEZ of hoogte/ breedte van voertuig ( bus, vrachtwagen, mobilehome, caravan)

  19. Plan for multiple routes using the map

    Planner is a nice feature. Though, there are times you want to visit a place and check out multiple routes before hand. Not just three generated routes. These routes I can change by touching a street and boom a new route shows up. This isn’t the same as adding a stop, it is more like Changing direction. I find that figuring out 5 different routes makes it interesting on driving that direction even though it may be longer. Then I save the route with a name. Then the next day I pick the route.     Add the ability to pick a vehicle like a pickup truck, car, suv, jeep, ect. and allow us to pick the color.
