Navigating without GPS
When GPS are down you just can't use waze. If you could plan a route from point A to point B (and not from your location) you could at least use the app to follow the directions. In such instances I must use google maps.

Headlight reminder on sunset
In Brazil, drivers must turn on their headlights between sunset and sunrise (Brazilian Traffic Code, Article 40, I, a, and Annex I).
When th theme is set to Auto, Waze automatically switches to dark mode at sunset, so we know it knows the sun's schedule for the driver's location.
Waze already sends a reminder to turn on headlights on specific road segments that require them.
I suggest that Waze also remind drivers to turn on their headlights at sunset. Drivers should have the option to turn this notification off in the Waze settings.

Gostaria de sugerir uma nova opção de visualização no Waze: mapa em modo satélite, semelhante à visualização disponível no Google Maps.
Seria muito útil poder alternar entre o mapa tradicional do Waze e uma imagem de satélite real, permitindo visualizar melhor o terreno, áreas verdes, rios, construções, estradas rurais e outros elementos da paisagem.
Essa função poderia ser especialmente interessante para quem utiliza o Waze em regiões rurais ou em locais onde o mapa convencional não representa tão bem o ambiente ao redor.
Acredito que a visualização por satélite seria um excelente complemento ao Waze, tornando a navegação mais completa…

Olá, equipe do Waze!
Gostaria de sugerir a adição de um modo de visualização via satélite no aplicativo, semelhante ao que existe no Google Maps.
Seria muito interessante poder alternar entre o mapa tradicional e uma visualização com imagens de satélite, mostrando as paisagens, estradas, áreas rurais, rios, construções e outros detalhes reais do terreno. Isso ajudaria bastante na orientação, principalmente em locais onde o mapa convencional não deixa tão clara a geografia da região.
Acredito que essa opção deixaria o Waze ainda mais completo e seria muito bem recebida pelos usuários.

CDL Subscription
Create a version for truck drivers, even if it has to be subscription based due to cost to set up. I know I would gladly pay $3 a month to have access to roads that do not allow trucks or tractor trailers, and I'm sure other truck drivers would as well.

Add a Quick Emergency Search Icon for Nearby Hospitals and Defibrillators (AED)

Es sollte möglich sein, Waze über Apple CarPlay zu nutzen, ohne dass das Fahrzeug Waze automatisch als aktives Navigationssystem erkennt.Derzeit schaltet das Auto häufig sein integriertes Navigationssystem ab, sobald Waze über CarPlay gestartet wird. Dadurch verschwindet die Navigationsanzeige im Display hinter dem Lenkrad.
Idealerweise sollten beide Systeme gleichzeitig funktionieren: Waze für die Navigation und Verkehrsinformationen über CarPlay, während die fahrzeugeigene Navigation weiterhin aktiv bleibt und Hinweise im Kombiinstrument anzeigen kann. Das würde die Nutzung deutlich komfortabler und sicherer machen.

Waze waits for confirmation to start drive when drive started with Siri
I've always initiated a drive using Siri on my iPhone 16 Pro. For example, I would say "Siri, Drive Home". And it would start the route automatically. However lately, I've noticed a dialog box pops up with a GO NOW button that waits for me to press it. It does not automatically start after a short period of time. I am driving a Mazda CX-5 and this is rather annoying. The touch screen disables when I drive. And I have to fiddle around with the switch to move to the GO NOW button to select it. Allow Quick Alert Preference Changes
Allow context-aware/destination-based or in-dash audio profile switching (Normal vs. Alerts-only) on Android Auto/CarPlay.
The recent interface change removed quick audio profile toggles (Normal, Less chatty, Only alerts, Off) from the main map screen and restricted menu depth on Android Auto/CarPlay.:
This creates a major safety and usability paradox: drivers cannot change their audio/alert preferences via voice command, nor can they access these settings on the car dashboard while connected. To switch from full turn-by-turn navigation to "Only alerts" for a routine commute, a user is forced to completely disconnect their phone and fiddle with the mobile app.

Airlines have been doing this for decades. Please show local arrival time for routes. This is especially helpful for when traveling/driving between different time zones. This should be added as a visual reference for navigation routes (again when traveling between different time zones).

Map Efficiency
This is not so much an issue as a recommendation/request. I have a Toyota 4Runner and the touchscreen display is big. The current location for the action button is closer to the passenger than it is to the driver. It means I reach a long way to report road issues and it is a bit cumbersome while driving and trying to keep eyes on the road. Há um tempo atrás quando o app uber motorista enviava a rota para o Waze no Android auto, o app da Uber continuava em primeiro plano no celular, e é isso que eu prefiro, deveria ter uma opção para o motorista escolher qual app permanecer em primeiro plano no celular caso o app específico envie uma rota, pois hoje o Uber envia a rota e minimiza deixando a lista de rota Waze em primeiro plano no celular, o que eu não gosto, porque a rota já está aberto no Android auto.

Interface confusa e com cliques em excesso. Ao selecionar um destino e clicar em "Ir agora", o aplicativo não inicia a rota de primeira e exige clicar no mesmo botão "Ir agora" uma segunda vez. É um passo desnecessário que atrapalha a usabilidade antes de dirigir. Deveria iniciar a navegação logo no primeiro clique.
