  2. Map UK police ANPR scanners

    I like to suggest that UK police ANPR scanners are crowd-mapped and potentially included as an option that one might like to avoid when navigating

    Background:
    Police have set up thousands of number plate scanners in the UK which record passing traffic including images of front passengers.

    These create motion profiles which are stored on non-public database regardless of suspicion or explicit consent with no right to view your own data).

    Camera locations are not published also even though ANPR cams are visible for people who know what they look like.

  3. Apple CarPlay show upcoming notifications

    It would be very helpful if you could see the upcoming notifications on your route in the Apple CarPlay mode (like you can in the app when pressing the bar at the bottom). Now I use the app besides the CarPlay mode where the notifications on the route are shown, but these don’t update while you are driving and thus don’t solve the issue

  5. Hearing aids

    I use GN Resound MFi hearing aids with iPhone. When I have tried the Waze app, the lag in activating my hearing aid connection causes me to miss the first few words of each step of my directions. Is there any way to have the app ping the connection, and after a short delay, continue with directions?

  6. Waze Automatically ’Wakes Up’ when connected to CarPlay

    I understand the Waze Sleep option, saving battery etc.
    However it would be really useful that once the iPhone is connected to CarPlay that it automatically wakes. Alternatively a Siri activated command such as ‘wake up’ gets the app out of sleep mode rather than the current approach which is to pull over disconnect and then reconnect to engage the app out of sleep mode.

    אחד מהכישרונות שלי הוא להפוך דברים לאפקטיביים בהרבה וידידותיים למשתמש. כבר שנים שאני תוהה אם לפנות אליכם, waze כמובן מוצלחת ממש תוכל להיעזר בי :)

    הייתי נותן את זה כשירות לציבור ישראל והעולם אבל אשמח גם לתמורה כספית מwaze, אין לי מחירים. כמה שיראו לנכון.

    יש לי כמעט 8 נקודות גאוניות לשיפור, והדמיות פשוטות. אשמח להציגם פנים אל פנים לבודקים ולאחר אישור להמשיך לפיתוח וכן הלאה

  8. Warn about slowing traffic ahead

    Please add a feature to warn of s lowing traffic ahead.

    When driving on the freeway, waze knows where we’re going, if the traffic is much slower ahead, a warning about slowing traffic would be very helpful and provide greater safety.

  9. Text Msg Concept

    Hello Waze Team #1,

    One idea, I think would be great to have here in the near future is to be able to set Waze as a default app on iPhone, so whenever someone sends you a text msg for address or favorite locations it will automatically default to Waze and not google as it currently does. I just think Waze has been evolving to be a favorite request by lots of drivers out in the community and cities.     We plan to work on Including “Broken Traffic Light” hazard report in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

    Add the ability to for consumers to place a School Road Camera like you do for accidents, police, etc.

  12. Making a right or left turn or exiting a highway.

    I would like a little more "lead time" in the Waze directions when Waze is telling you to turn. Another couple of seconds would be very helpful.

  14. Can you make boxes while driving to press instead of those little strips

    Sometimes the wrong one gets pressed and the boxes would be bigger, easier and quicker to press than those long strips, please consider

  17. couleur pour les radars

    Bonjour lors des évènements zone de contrôle serait il possible d 'avoir un policier rouge ou d'une couler différente du bleu pour les radars et le policier bleu restant disponible pour les vrais contrôle de police.

  19. To feature Ice Cream Vans around me and closest to me

    I think it would be great especially leading up to summer to actually know where a Ice Cream van is in my local area. There is something nice about having ice cream from a van so if we actually new where the closest one was, it would mean we dont have to drive to somehwere guessing that there will be an Ice Cream Van there and there isn't, disapointing the kids. I understand it would include the people in the Ice Cream Vans would have to upload it etc but it would also boost their sales.

    As a dad, I want to collect all the Mcdonald’s disney princess toys for my two girls, but understanding their happy meal release date and location is virtually impossible. Even going through drive-thru, workers often do not know which toy, or if they will even give you a disney princess toy. I Would love for waze to tackle this problem to allow users to create public groups like “disney princess toys at mcdonald’s” and have a notification feature of date and time last user reported this.”
