  3. Variable speed

    Show the slower speed for variable speed zones.
    In Melbourne Australia there are many variable speed zones where the slower speed is set for a longer period. Eg. 40km between 7am and midnight. That should be the speed set for that area as that is the speed for the majority of the day, not the higher speed.

    De Blumenau a Balneário Camboriú, tem 3 rotas indicadas pelo waze, em todas , manda utilizar a Rodovia Ingo Hering/ BR 470, rodovia extremamente perigosa. Existe a rota via Av Governador Jorge Lacerda, que passa por Gaspar e Ilhota que é muito mais segura e é feita no mesmo tempo das outras rotas, mesmo utilizando esta rota por anos, Waze não a sugere

    Minimalistic version of Voice navigation alerts? In the voice selection menu could be the simple "BEEP" (or any other, even in different variants by users selection). I mostly drive with all alerts off, I watch the screen heree and there. But driving on highway can easily couse the junction miss. Simple tick or beep sound will notice me, the upcomming route change.

  7. Add periodic warnings to pay attention

    During a drive, it would be useful for waze to remind the driver to pay attention, stop texting or looking at their phone. Given that new in-car software lets you use waze dirrectly on an in-car infotainment system, users can freely use their phones while also navigating on waze. For safety of others, it would be useful for waze to remind users from time to time to put down their phones, just like they remind you to turn on your headlights.

  8. Add warnings for dangerous road sections

    It would be useful to add warnings on maps when entering an area where many previous crashes/deaths have been recorded. This is done on roads in Romania via a special traffic sign (a red triangle with a black circle in it). It would be useful for general traffic safety for waze to give such warnings to make drivers more atentive and to drive slower.

  9. Offer alternative to Highway Travel or non-Highway

    It would be very helpful to have an alternative to the two modes of navigation. Non-highway sometimes takes me through a million back streets, where I just want a direct, non-highway map.

  10. What should I keep in mind while Reviewing on Google?

    When reviewing on Google, focus on honesty and clarity. Clearly provide details about your experience, such as the quality of service or product to make your feedback valuable. Balance your review by highlighting positives and mentioning areas for improvement, avoiding overly emotional or rude language. Be respectful and professional. Proofread your review.   12. Bug RoundAbout exit during driving : A U-turn is always showing on the dashboard of the car

    The dashboard of the car always shows an U-turn exit for all roundabout on android auto.

    It will be good to replicate, like the application Google Maps does, the correct information seen on the map to the dashboard car.

    Because actually for all roundabout, Waze shows on the dashboard a u-turn whereas the exit number and indication are correct on the map.

    Suggestion to the forum : A picture to upload would help to explain more than a long explanation.

  13. Type of place: Motorcycle parking lot

    Parking for motorcycles

    When I ride a motorcycle, I often can't use paid parking.

    The problem is that the entrance gate doesn't open, or I'm directed to a locked parking lot.

    I'd like to be able to set whether motorcycles are allowed in the parking type settings, and to map parking lots for motorcycles only.

    After all, there's a motorcycle mode.

  14. Do not stop navigation when unplugging from Android Auto

    When you unplug the phone from the car, Waze will stop the current navigation and forget the route.

    This can happen for a variety of reasons such as making a pit stop, or even a flaky usb port.

    If you need to continue the route, you need to re set the destination, and for this you need internet access. If you are in the middle of nowhere with no internet, you are screwed.

    Google Maps doesn't forget the current navigation when the phone unplugs from the car. The navigation should be stopped only if the user stops it manually.

  15. Add Kia EV6 vehicle

    Electric Vehicles are becoming more prominent in the United States.
    I'm requesting a (white) Kia EV6 as a selectable Vehicle to display in 3D on the map as a personal vehicle.

    I wanted to also point out that as of today, 01/08/25, there are literally no white crossovers/utilty vehicles to even choose from - at all.

    Add the EV6 and my soul is yours.

  16. Entry point should not be displayed as the finish line

    When I am driving around with waze I find it infuriating that when I type an adress the finish line is on the road, and I cannot see where is the actual house (on which side of the road) (and i not only am talking about house numbers) i also think it's a quite easy fix for you.

  17. Alerts for all autovelox, also for those with red cross icon

    My suggestion would be that in the settings of your app you add the possibility of activating or disactivating the alerts for the autovelox marked as in the attachment.
    I understood that in your opinion these are only "containers", but I am not 100% sure that this is true. I would suggest that these will be added in the list of possible alerts, that every driver could then decide wether to turn of or on.

  18. CarPlay (Waze Map shown into instrument cluster update) as demonstrated by latest CarPlay updates

    Apple have updated CarPlay to work with the instrument cluster in addition to the centre screen, which is far more comfortable in the latest cars to have navigation behind the wheel. Developers need to make updates to enable this feature to work for their apps.

    Please update Waze to take advantage of this new functionality, which will improve the experience of navigating while driving.

  20. UK - Waze needs a "no single track roads" option

    Waze often routes down single track/privately maintained roads that are narrow and of poor quality

    An option to avoid these roads should be implemented.
