    Hello, please add double detection sistem. In Italy we have some devices (photored) they check passing with red light and the speed. All in one. But in app we have the possibility to choose photored or speed trap. We need both options. Thank you. In Italy it’s called Velocar

  3. Vignette control car warning

    In HU mostly on highways there are multiple vignette / tax and customs car, checking traffic and are roadside, but always reported as police which is very misleading. Should be an option for some other type, because most of the police warnings are false alarm.

    1. Alerts/new report - If you touch outside button, report gets cancelled/alert is dismissed without feedback. Difficult to touch buttons accurately while driving.
    2. Be able to customise reporting section.
    3. Be able to select areas to avoid (for crime risks or road conditions etc).
    4. Some saved addresses don't show when searched by saved name, or address.
    5. No in-app suggestion/complaint/report system. And no email responses to issues reported. This suggestion/complaint platform is unnecessarily complicated. Reporting issues, and receiving feedback should be simplified to an in-app section.

    Hazards and speed camera pop-ups are blocking/obscuring the lane guidance in Android Auto. Please redesign and make it smaller or move it somewhere else. It's dangerous as drivers have to keep dismissing and closing the dialogue pop-up

  7. navigation disappearing android auto

    There's a known bug of this and I was directed here by support.

    I have found a work around to get Waze navigation to work on the vehicle display through Android Auto.

    These steps, in this order, will allow Waze navigation to function on the vehicle display. The steps must be performed each time the phone connects to the vehicle. So switching from wireless Android Auto to wired and vice versa will require following the steps again. All steps are performed on the vehicle display unit, not on the phone.

    1. Open Google Maps on the vehicle.

  8. Capitalize on the Great American solar eclipse 2024

    I'm not sure if you all are already thinking about this, but I think it would be really smart to capitalize on the upcoming Great American solar eclipse on April 8th. I've noticed that Waze is good about navigating large crowds of vehicles through the available road systems when a lot of people are running the app, so I think it would be great to market and advertise to folks that they should be using the app in order to alleviate the traffic and smooth everything out. I know I will be running the app, especially on my way home!

  11. Provide an alternative route when accident in front of me

    I need the app to provide enough in advance an exit off highway with an alternative toure. It happens to me all the time that Waze gets me stuck in the constipation. ******* banana. It used to work this way. Not anymore. I am crazy.

  13. Add "HIGHWAY FIRST" to route preference

    When there are several routes available, I've noticed that Waze may calculate a route that combines both ground roads and highways. This is done to save a little time or reduce toll fees but can result in entering the highway from a distant entrance or exiting the highway too early. This approach leads to more instances of entering and exiting, as well as increased interactions with other drivers, which is unnecessary and more dangerous.

    I suggest implementing a "HIGHWAY FIRST" preference. When a highway is available, the system should calculate a route that prioritizes the use of highways, even if…

  14. Allow the user to enter a reminder of a street or a location where police regularly positioned.Waze would then remind you to be careful

    Allow the user to put in a location with a reminder /warning for themselves and maybe other users where they know where police regularly set up speed traps. The driver allows themselves to be fore warned.

  15. Larger Choice buttons

    I use your app a lot of time as a passenger but when I use it as a driver I find myself not being able to press the choice buttons.... "Not there" and "Still there" The buttons seem to be on the small side. Could a setting be added in the settings for LARGE buttons? Maybe buttons the size of a postage stamp.... as tall as they are wide now. It would really help us people with big hands.

    Unless it is your day job, and even then, most people faced with an emergency situation either as a victim or a witness, especially in a vehicle, will suffer immense rushes of adrenaline pumping around the body, any injuries invoke confusion as delayed shock sets in.

  19. Local driving instructions without highways

    Instead of always giving directions using highways, you should investigate methods using "back ways", meaning using local streets as some people don't like to go in highways. Also, when directions are given, please give FULL instructions, not just show an arrow pointed to the right or left without mentioning on what road to make that turn.
