  2. Been using Waze for a few years now & was reviewing the comments & was a little surprised!!

    This past Thursday (Thanksgiving day) we were traveling North from San Diego to the Newport Beach area when I was given a reroute, and a friend of mine was following and he wasn't using Waze (but Google Maps) but he followed me and later thanked me because the traffic had stopped completely and he saw the bad accident & delay. We were able to save ourselves a good 20 minutes by going around the accident that was on the freeway.   5. The navigation system encounters failures with voice recognition.

    For instance, when I clearly state my destination as "XYZ-City Main Station," the system responds with a generic acknowledgment like "Okay, I'll take you to XYZ-City!" despite correctly understanding my request. It navigated me to a random? position in that city. This inconsistency can be quite frustrating.

    In Malaysia, when it rains, motor cyclists take shelter under flyovers and bridges. Therefore, if their waze was on, it would make your app think traffic is at a standstill.

  8. Colour coded routes - showing traffic on route

    Google Maps shows green, amber and red, so at a glance, its easy to see if there are issues on the route at any point along it. This is missing from Waze and would be a great addition, as, without it, you never quite know if you are heading towards issues.

    שלום, אתמול נסעתי מירושלים לתל אביב. לא רציתי לנסוע מכביש 443. כשהפעלתי את WAZE הוא חישב מסלול דרך כביש בגין - 50 ובתכנון המסלול היה רשום שהשפניה הבאה זה בארלוזרוב. זה נשמע לגמרי אחלה וזה לגמרי כמו המסלול של כביש 1 אלא שבמקום שכבר לא יכולתי לשנות התברר שזה דרך כביש 443. לא הפעלתי בדיקה של מסלולים חלופיים כי ברגע שראיתי בגין ויציאה בארלוזרוב לא שיערתי שזה דרך 443. אני מציעה שבטעינת המסלול יופיע דרך איזה כביש המסלול המתוכנן בדיוק כמו שמופיע אם בוחרים לראות מסלולים חלופיים. ושזה יופיע גם בכותרת של הפירוט של המסלול בצד שמאל כדי שנדע בגדול…

    To set-up a navigation acct. due I have to provide a credit card; I'm very leery in putting a credit card on the internet? One site I tried to use to install "Waze" wanted a credit card.

  14. Curiosities and information of the cities spoken and generated by ChatGpt

    It would be nice if we have an option to enable live and auto spoken comments regarding the cities that we pass during a trip.
    The trip would be more curious, fun and interesting... We could learn about geography, stats, data, history, agriculture and even sports of each city.

  15. Reporting dirt or dust on the shoulder

    After strong rains, it is common here in Brazil to see slopes partially falling into the road so that the shoulder is full of dirt, debris or sand. It would be nice if we could report that there is dirt on the shoulder. This is very dangerous (mainly for motorcycles).

  20. Interactive icons

    I changed my map icon to the dog car. Which is great, but it would be fun if at the start of the journey, the dog car ran round in circles, and when you come to a stop at a junction etc, it wagged it's tail.
    Similarly can alerts for police ahead not be Woot Woot dats da sound of the police.
