Add "Show Friend Wazers Only" Option
Perhaps you can consider adding the ability in settings to not just show/hide all Wazers but add a third option to "show friend wazers only", too. Be great to have this so when caravanning you're still able to see your friends without seeing all wazers which can sometimes clutter the map. Thanks.

Add danish voice language
Danish waze users are currently using English as voice language. İf you want to expand the danish user base then you must add danish voice language.

I want to report hazards & closures even after i drove past it. like hold my finger on a location and report there.
I like to report things but by the time i open my waze app, i already drove a few blocks. And waze doesn't let me report anything 3 blocks back. Why can't I click on the map and pick the exact location?

A button for reporting irrelevant in a popup when selecting something directly on map
When there is reported something like Police for example, that is not there anymore, there are only two things that can be done. Searching for the particular report in the list or adding a comment. Any of these are dangerous while driving.
When selecting a report icon on map, there is a popup where is a button for comment and a button for Thanks. Auto Calculate the total cost of toll of the travel, and present in the route choices
It is easier for the user to choose the saving cost route, to avoid unnecessary extra cost for entering and exiting some unnecessary toll

Soporte para la navegación - Pico y Placa en Lima, Perú
Estimados Waze,
En vista de la implementación en Lima, Peru, del sistema Pico y Placa (avenidas restringidas en ciertos horarios y dias de la semana, segun el numero de placa), recomiendo que se implemente en el aplicativo una opción para indicar si la placa del auto es par o impar, y segun eso, se evite recomendar rutas que vayan por las avenidas restringidas, durante el horario / día en que corresponda.Muchas gracias!!
65 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already takes license plate restrictions into account, in many parts of the world. To enable this feature, add your license plate details under Settings > Car details > License plate.

Long distance routing
I use Waze frequently around town and short trips, its GREAT! I also travel longer distances and Waze will not allow me to setup a route for those trips. Google Maps does, so it is certainly possible. Id love to be able to use Waze for this. Currently I run both simultaneously but switching back and forth while driving is dangerous.

Make Waze compatible with AndroidAuto Coolwalk.
Waze is not yet working on full screen with Coolwalk beta of Android Auto. Google Maps is doing that already.

send destination or itinerary from computer to phone
Hi! It would be nice to send itinerary or destination from a web brower on a computer directly to the Waze app. A Great way would be through the "share menu" extension built in OSX.

ווייז יאגרו את המידע לגבי פקקים בצמתים וכבישים בכל הארץ (מה שככל הנראה כבר נעשה)
וישתמשו במידע הזה כדי לחזות פקקים עתידיים בשעות מסוימות.
הכוונה היא שאם עכשיו בוקר ואני מתכנן לצאת אחר הצהריים לכיוון עיר מסוימת אני אוכל כבר עכשיו לבדוק את הערכת הפקקים הממוצעת בשעות האלה בדרך שאני מתכנן לנסוע ולא רק בלייב של אותו הרגע.

Limit traffic alerts to same country/smaller area
There's no point in showing alerts from 2000+ km away. Most people are only interested in alerts in their immediate area.

Tarifs moyens des trajets
nous avons systématiquement plusieurs itinéraires possibles, parfois certains ayant un temps similaire voir identiques. Il pourrait être intéressant de mettre en avant les tarifs des péages ainsi parfois entre 2 trajets de 45 minutes entre le 1er faisant prendre 3 péage pour un total par exemple de 10€ et l'autre trajets avec un seul péage a 3€ cela évite des frais inutile. ou même parfois il est peut être intéressant de rallonger de 5 minute si cela évite un péage coûteux. put music controls on the waze screen so I can forward, back, pause and play my music whilst watching the waze screen
Please can you put music controls onto the main screen. I listen to my smartphone music in my car and it would be great to be able to fast forward, rewind, paus and play tracks whilst keeping the waze screen visible. Thanks.

Add option to stop scanning of reports when not moving.
Please add a possibility to stop scanning of reports when not moving. It can be annoying sometimes. I just want to observe surround streets while standing. And it also consumes additional traffic. Thank you.

Auto dimming
When not using a car charger, it would be nice to have an auto dimming option to save battery.
This would work by automatically dimming the screen to almost complete darkness when on long stretches of road without any turns. Combination Red Light & Speed Camera
In my area there are now red light cameras that are also speed cameras. Why is this relevant? Because if the light is STALE (green for a long period and may be turning yellow/red soon at some point) I and other drivers who are aware that the light may be turning red may speed up to avoid the possibility of a receiving a red light ticket. (Because you can’t just stop for a stale green light) If you are aware the redlight camera also tickets for speed it would be a helpful reminder to keep your speed in check while…

Pause playback during audio alerts (for audiobooks)
Currently the Waze sounds turn the volume of whatever is playing the background down, causing me to miss words of audiobooks. Add an option for "Audiobook mode" to pause playback during Waze alerts/navigation voice.
