1. Suggestions to Improve Waze UX/UI on Carplay

   Two things I've noticed are causing issues (for me, personally at least) when using Waze for CarPlay.

   1) I have to continually enter the zoom menu to zoom back down to the right distance...not ALL the time, but enough that I think it's probably a bug, and just wanted to mention it.

   and most importantly...

   2) The Notification/alert system is fundamentally broken IMO, because it essentially hijacks the navigation screen. It removes the arrival time, time remaining in your trip, and the distance you have left in your trip. These are details that I personally don't want to disappear for an alert, especially since I'm getting alerts CONSTANTLY throughout every trip. However, I have thought of a way to combine the alert WITH all of that information, while also keeping the size down and still allowing you to dismiss it easily.

   Whenever an alert comes up, the card with your arrival/minutes/distance pushes up, and shows the alert beneath it along with the "NOT THERE" and "THANKS" buttons at the bottom side by side. Success! Now you can show both while also maintaining minimal screen coverage, and keeping the original element width and height as well! See Imgur link for my photoshop mockup! Thanks for reading.

   A. Door opens outward. Paper towels are available.
   B. Door opens inward. Paper towels are available.
   C. Door opens inward. No paper towels available.
   D. Door opens inward, No paper towels. Filthy mess.

   I will not eat in C or D establishments. I check the restroom first and then make a decision. Every person I have talked with likes this idea.

   Good Health makes sense....this restaurant rating makes sense.

8. Aliases for waze

   Simple but extremely useful. I think that you should add Aliases option. For example, if I want to travel to my friend Michael, I'll write "Michael" in the search bar or say "Michael" to the voice search and my friends house will be the first option.

9. Who is the JERK that took away the Prevent auto-lock option???

   I just switched phones (Note 3 to a Note 9). Incoming calls now take over Waze screen, which may or may not come back after call. WTF??? Why has the Prevent auto-lock functionality been removed???

    I love having foreign voices announce my trip on Waze. Why not have an option that immediately follows the foreign voice into English (or another language) to help me learn the first language. This could then be even further expanded to read places, shops etc and teach another language while we drive!

14. Waze to confirm when it has read UserVoice ideas

    I have an issue with Waze - a bug in my opinion - and found it has been reported and voted on here but over 6 years ago! There is zero indication that Waze is actively reading this forum nor that it is planning to introduce any of the ideas suggested here.

    a) For Waze to either use a builtin facility of UserVoice, if it exists, or, otherwise, use a comment, to indicate when it has read a suggestion

    b) For Waze to either use a builtin facility of UserVoice, if it exists, or, otherwise, use a comment, to indicate whether it is planning to introduce or has rejected the suggestion.

16. Improve route guidance

    Please take your time to analize these factors;
    Waze, everytime you release a new update, it doesn’t alway fix or updates one of the most important thing, which is the routing itself, another word;
    Waze does not always end the route where it needs to be (it ends somewhere close),
    When it comes to apartments complexes, it takes you most of the time through the exit gate instead of the main gain (just because it seeing the final address as closer to the exit, I get it but it it’s not correct),
    The “fastest route” it’s not alway the safer route (sometimes you end up crossing a route in the middle of rush hour or heavy traffic),
    Taking highways for short trips it’s not something the customer (in the event of ridesharing) prefers,
    Using an express lane (on expressways) it’s not always the best option, sometimes you face heavy traffic in that lane also (and you can’t do much to get out of it because you only have one lane),

20. Go back to the directional method prior to this last upgrade. It takes more concentration to consider which way is right or left .

    I don't like the new directional arrow. I now have to concentrate on which way is right or left while I'm driving. Im somewhat direction challenged as it is. If your in heavy traffic, its one more thing to worry about.
