Si un cycliste utilise waze. Quand je roule mon waze me signale la présence du cycliste dans mon environnement proche. Ainsi la visibilité du cycliste est améliorée pour sa sécurité. Dans les routes de campagne c'est fort utile pour protéger les velos.

Great Idea but difficult to integrate. Waze wouldn't be able to tell if the cyclist was on the Road or neighbouring path unless all the paths were mapped too. I don't see this ever being implemented unless Waze plan to develop a sister app for Cyclists.

It is important to avoid dangerous driving with the upcoming traffic, bicycle, people walking that is hard to see.

Not a bad idea, as I've had bicycle friends injured by motor vehicles, but, the vast majority of drivers don't use Waze, so, in that regard, there is no real added safety feature. However, I would think it wouldn't be that hard for Waze to add "bicycle" to the "Vehicle type," although, I suppose, a bicyclist could use "Motorcycle," instead.

I would just turn off this warning as I do for cars stopped on the shoulder. There's too many of them now...which is why I turn it off. Just be the driver.
