A way of warning other waze users of heights of bridges or width of restrictions as here in the UK we have so many tiny roads. I've been sent towards so many 6ft 6inch width restrictions and when your driving a lorry this is not a good thing, don't get me wrong I think Waze is excellent but I'm getting frustrated that it assumes I'm in a car all the time. So a facility to input the correct size manually (because they all differ) would help so many. Best to remember commercial drivers are the drivers that travel around the most and input the most hazard's keeping everyone informed and up to date. The ability to select the size and weight of vehicle you are driving if bigger than a car.
add onto the map weight, height and width restrictions on roads, and then once you input weight/dimensions of vehicle you are driving, the navigation can plot a route to avoid any such restrictions.
handy for truck/bus drivers, as well as those with vans/motorhomes/caravans/trailers or any other oversized vehicle.

Another handy addon would be to include parking areas, including truck stops.
as large vehicle drivers in some countries like the UK have driving hour restrictions, the ability to plan ahead for when you need to take a legal break would be really helpful.
i drive a particular road which has 135+ layby parking areas which i need to use for my rest.
Sometimes these are full, and it would be handy of i can look ahead to see where the next layby is for my break, enabling me to plan my drive better.

Add features like this, and you will encourage in the trucking comminity who would no doubt find the features very handy and would be a big contributer to keeping latest road reports up to date.

Please add this! I use wake every day and drive 400+ miles. I would pay extra for this feature

I use every time waze software on my phone. all are perfect, exept the fact it miss the possibility to indicate the size of our motorhome. do you expect to provide soon a new softaware version.

I drive a NY commercial registered pickup truck, all I need to know is what roads don't allow commercial vehicles along my route, I sometimes drive a car so I would like to be able to switch vehicle modes.

Need height of vehicle data input and ability to eliminate roads with propane restrictions.

I drive a work van and in some states it's considered a commercial vehicle and I can't always take the suggested routes with a commercial vehicle and sometimes it will only show two or three routes why aren't there more options

Since this is the most up-to-date map out there this is perfect for us truckers. It would be cool to edit navigation to show only interstate to reduce the clutter.

Most vehicles on the roads are trucks, so when I choose my waze vehicle to be a large truck, waze should automatically go into truck driver mode. It should not only do those things already listed, but when offered 2 routes between destinations, it should take into consideration the best route for a large truck, such as sharp turns, frequent stop/starts, and roads not allowing large trucks.
Also, needed features would be parking lots that do/don't allow or have room for large trucks. Approaching a city and trying to find food and lodging is a huge issue when needing to park a huge truck!
Weigh stations added by truckers with open/closed ability to report.
Sharp turns ahead.
Truck stops with locations and if they are full or not, with added reviews by users such as food offered, review of restrooms, and shower availability.
Since we are ALWAYS on the road, how about catering to us, too???

Commercial vehicle truck routing would be very helpful as we are probably your main users!! 13'6" tall trailers.53' long trailers.102" wide trailers or option for 98" or less.80,000 lb or under limits for bridges and roads.Weigh stations and truck stops might be a nice addition as well.

Many of us professional truck drivers use Waze every day. I wish we could report Weigh Scale status (open or closed).

It would be a routes for truckers, knowing they can't use car routes
