En Argentina hay alrededor de 12 millones de vehículos circulando aproximadamente, de los cuales el 10% son vehículos de Gran porte (camiones), al día de hoy no hay ningún sistema de navegación que un chofer de camión ya sea larga o corta distancia pueda instalar y que los guíe con sus respectivas normas de tránsito.
Sería una gran solución evitaría accidentes daño a la vía pública, desgaste mental para el chófer , etc. el tema es muy largo para discutir pero bueno yo les brindó Mi idea y lo demás es trabajo de ustedes. Esto va a funcionar si lo desarrollan bien y no sólo en Argentina en el mundo entero. pueden contactarse conmigo si lo desean. Trabajo de chofer y tengo conocimiento del tránsito.

The most recent update I've heard related to truck-specific info is that Waze isn't going to do it.

There are too many legal issues involved, not to mention editing would be a nightmare. You would have to know the weight limit of every segment, the height of every bridge, width restrictions, hazmat, time-related restrictions for certain trucks, etc. Not only would you have to do that in the map, but you would have to enter your truck's current weight, height, etc. into the app.

There are other solutions that already exist, but they aren't free.

Does Waze have any plans for trucks in future?

Routes which support RVs would be great. I love waze, but it's a little worrisome to be redirected to a side road when we don't know if that side road has height or weight restrictions. .

Long Island has many roads that are restricted to commercial vehicles and I can't use Waze when going to and from work because of this reason. But I wish there was a truck option on waze so I could.

Being able to put in my vehicle details so that Waze doesn't try to send me under a bridge my van is too tall to fit under would help. And also width and weight restrictions for going over the bridges and through width restricted roads

añade la opcion de añadir una velocidad maxima del vehiculo que utiliza WAZE , de esta manera los que conducen camion o furgoneta (90km/h) y autobuses (100km/h) pueden calcular sus tiempos de llegada.
Tambien hay un problema en elegir destinos a mas de 1000 km. de distancia : se bloquea y dice que no encuentra ruta.
me refiero a buscar por ejemplo de madrid a calais o paris es imposible... tengo que utilizarlo por tramos.
Y la ultima ... hay algunos avisos de radares fijos ... por lo menos en Eapaña que al ser en modo "solo avisos" no me las dicen por voz, solo sale en el mapa pero sin avisar ( los radares estan en el sentido de marcha).

We tow a trailer a bunch. Having the ability to put in that we are towing changes 2 aspects
1) In my state, the trailer speed limit is 55 on the freeway so that changes the ETA significantly
2) Waze has taken us down some wicked small roads with no place to turn around. If it knew we were towing, it might have rerouted us.

I will be getting a travel trailer and hope an option to avoid roads and tunnels that don't allow trailers and propane will be added soon!

We will be purchasing our first travel trailer. We don't want to come to a parkway or a tunnel and find out we are not allowed to travel the road. PLEASE add an option for towing trailers.
