A truck option would have to include millions of trucks could use Waze. It would be a great help to them.

Sygic is GREAT for trucks, but Waze for Truckers would be better. Not only USA but Europe too :)

Tell me a route to my destination that hops between max range distances for my all-electric vehicle! I can type in my starting range and Waze can do the rest! Also specify charging points with a radius that equals my current charge range? Us EV owners don’t care about gas prices etc. Plus we’d like a little vehicle logo that matches ... a lightning bolt perhaps! ⚡️

Agreed, I just bought a Garmin RV GPS and we are returning it. The routing is terrible!! Also I love how WAZE alerts me of hazards in roadway and slow downs. I would pay extra for an RV height/weight version of WAZE

Including a platform where you can choose if your car, RV, tractor trailer. The platform could include bridges that are allowed not allowed, toll prices for the 3 options, gradient for steep hills/mountains etc...

We have been searching for an all in one app and did not like the few that were out there... waze has an opportunity to create something here in this space for RVs and tractor trailers.

I would pay for this. Seriously...charge me $50/year, but integrate it into waze.

RVers need this info as well, especially the height clearances.

Low bridges to be taken in account for routes.Even for vans , it happens to meet a height restriction. A van can have height up to 3,1 m. It will be perfect to implement,, van “ option , vehicle below 3,5 tons and height below 3,1 m. If you will do that, will grow a lot the numbers of users which will use the app every day for thousands of kilometers.

Can you add an option to waze for people towing so it doesn’t reroute you to streets that are not easy for them to navigate

Trailer mode has been said & there are several international differences. A general setup to say 1-what are you towing (Commercial, RV Travel Trailer etc) 2- its weight (GVW) 3- Total Weight with your vehicle 4- speed limit if your location has one 5- Axel count optional 6-general load (propane, gas etc) 7- Total height of unit to avoid low overhead items(bridges, lines) this could then be used to help adjust the trip so that you avoid restricted areas(tunnels & alike) low bridge, weight restricted routes. Also if you speak with groups like KOA camp grounds, or Venues like 6 Flags parks, preferred entry ways. (FYi advertising opportunity both for Waze & the vendor) . My family has an U.S. based RV Travel Trailer 26’ long. I love Waze but would really like to have some if not all of this functionality. I am looking to buy an RV specific GPS just for this. So I would say even a small fee for the extra research & work would not be bad. I can swing $4.99 for an added feature like this so I don’t have to have a whole other device in my truck.

A general solution for trucks and other commercial vehicles I agree is too complex but worth money so a paid service makes more sense. However, most RV and camper trailer users fall into a different category. Occasional users who would not pay for a service used seldom but very valuable when needed. And much simpler rules governing access to relatively few roads.

The problem is that the road data is not available, thats why all sat navs don't do it.
It should be possible to do a stick to major roads option though, that would cover most peoples requirements.

Adding RV specs (height, propane onboard, etc.- to profile and using them for route planning would be beneficial. RV resorts in the database would be helpful too.
