The previous version for apple carplay, i was able to plan my route in my phone while connected to the apple carplay. Most of the roads / highways come with a long name and i am not able to view the complete roads / highways name in order for me to plan my route. Also, i am not able to see the option to avoid tolls as the long name covered. I will have to always plug out my phone to plan route and plug in back. This is so stupid. Please bring back the previous car play version while we can plan our route in our phone while it is plugged into the carplay.

I get frustrated when I need to leave a UR, but can't add any comments (not even a username) because I'm driving.

I added this for Android Auto, but it applies to CarPlay. We should have the option of automatically adding a tag to reports submitted via AA or CP. This would be our username or a full comment that is predetermined.

I envision this as being an option when Debug is enabled, but it could be a stand alone setting.

The use case is...as a Waze editor is driving around, it's not uncommon for us to submit a report that we follow up on later. Having text added to the report would make it easier to determine it is from an editor.

Compatibility with Dashboard on CarPlay - screen where multiple apps can be displayed at same time.

I haven't used Waze since CarPlay released the dashboard screen since it's way more convenient to use Apple Maps. If they add this, it will be the only GPS app I'll ever need.

Apple Carplay now has opened the door for waze to work on the carplay dashboard. Any idea when or if Waze will make this update? It would be incredible to have waze work on the ios 13 dashboard.

Bonus points! Any progress on fixing Siri Shortcuts for Waze in ios 13?

It would be great if we still had the normal Waze screen displayed on the phone during CarPlay usage. This way reports could still be sent and the map can be easily zoomed and panned to find a specific area if needed.

The green bar indicating progress in average speed zones is disabled in CarPlay. Please enable it, or at least give an audio warning indicating we are out of the zone.

Apple has finally opened the possibility for 3rd party navigation apps.
And Waze is already back on my dash :-)

Dear Waze, I am sure that you have made millions of users happy with your entente with Apple which provides for CarPlay integration. My preference; however, is to use the native Waze app on my iPhone for in-car navigation (it's so much betetr) and at the same time, use CarPlay for its other features/apps. Since the roll-out of Waze for CarPlay yesterday, I can no longer independently use Waze on my iPhone as the map only appears on my car's built-in screen. Can you pleas enable a feature to deselect Waze from CarPlay?!?
