Adding Roadside Animal detection system to Waze as a feature will help reduce animal roadkill problem.
Roadside Animal Detection (RADAR) systems – A computerized signs with flashing light stripped when an animal breaks a light beam . These can reduce collisions with large animals. These alerts and captured images can also be sent to different GPS apps like Waze, so that drivers coming by on that road can be alerted through their GPS apps and slow down when crossing that area.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

I completely agree. This would hopefully cut down on the number of animals we see dead on the road. We just passed a dog and I wish I could have marked this as a hazard.

We think that waze should add to their warning menu a button that would make an area that's calle: animal danger zone when you see dead animals there, and after 10 votes that would happen. We believe that this would save many animals.

We would ike to add a button on the add hazard screen of waze that would inform people around a certain place that there is a dead animal and after a certain amount of votes the zone would be called "Animal danger zone", and people would drive with more caution.
