In states that use IPASS & similar toll systems, modify Waze to indicate that cash lanes or toll pass lanes are an option
The app currently routes us to the cash lanes - it doesn't take into account that IPASS lanes (& similar state toll lanes) are an option; please change

Just like avoid highways or tolls is an on/off option in Navigation, add EZ Pass or other electronic toll payment methods as an on/off option. Maybe a scroll list for the various brands so the user selects theirs.

As a driver,
I want Waze to navigate through only the toll passes I have,
So I don’t get stuck or have to pay extra for a pass I don’t have.
Currently, if the toll passes navigation option is on, it doesn’t discriminate between the tolls you have or the ones you don’t. -

This feature is absolutely necessary!

Cashless tolls in Massachusetts and elsewhere are a huge headache for car renters. No exception was carved out for rentals and as a result, drivers are at the mercy of rental companies who charge shady, unregulated service or "processing" fees that can work out to ten times or more than the original toll. An option to "Avoid Cashless Tolls" would help users avoid this scam.

Go into Settings - Navigation - Add toll/HOV passes - add I-Pass

In Italy, France, Spain and Portugal an electronic payment system called Telepass is used to pay toll road and principal parking lot.
Paying toll road with Telepass the arrival time changes consistently.
It would be very useful to activate the Telepass entry among those available in the TBR Pass menu (at this moment this menu isn't visible in ROW) -

Same. Have they corrected this feature. Is there an option in setup I’m unaware of?

Same here. Please tell me where the EZPASS lanes are rather than automatically routing me to the cash lanes.

I travel for work. EZPass does not work in every state. The navigation always assumes you can get on an EZPass only road. It has cost me a lot of time and money. You need an option to skip, Avoid toll roads is not enough. I can pay in cash. I don't want to drive back roads when I am 4 hours from home.

When you're setting up Waze for the first time just have a checkbox asking if you have an easy pass or not so you were not routed through easy pass lanes on your trips this would avoid expensive tickets when you get routed through the easy pass lanes and you do not have an easy pass. Thanks for any feedback

There are new toll roads that cannot be paid in cash. You must pay electronically with EZ-PASS or FASTRAK, etc. No toll booths, you can't pay cash.
Recently I rented a car in New York. Thrifty charges $19 per day for an EZ-PASS or $15 administrative fee per toll.
I just got a bill for $57.
$12 in tolls
$45 in "administrative fees" i.e. profit for Thrifty Rental Cars. -

I use sun pass and ezpass - two different areas in the us - Waze would need to list all possible toll pass systems in US or Europe and have a tick box for you to indicate which one you are using - In Florida there is a trend to build special express highways with no toll booths but have auto pass readers that require you to have a pass to use them - If waze knows that I have specific pass it can route me along these special highways.

Add the ability to choose which toll passes you use - We have "Sun Pass" for Florida and "EZ Pass for the North East - Waze could improve your route for special express lanes for pass holders as opposed to those paying cash for tolls. Also some times when I see an express lane for pass holders, I am not sure if I use it, will I be able to exit where I need to go for my destination - Waze would know to have us utilize the express pass lane or not- Was could also voice prompt - "EZ pass required for this route"

As EZ pass customer I wish to check option in settings and Waze will give directions to keep right or left for fast lane
