Object in roadway
Waze needs to specify which lane to avoid when warning about objects in the road. Add a lane selection when reporting the object and then add that info to the warning. I need to know which lane is safe to drive in.

Would it be possible to have an option to report which side of the road a crash was on? Even something like left / right / center, I think would help people better know where to go.

It's construction season folks! We should have the option to specify lanes affected by potholes, objects, and which side the crash is on. If drivers were aware of which side the crash is on, they can plan ahead mentally for which way they may need to switch lanes into, rather than at last second.
Like a main road by my work, police in the area decided to set up a temporary weigh station using the RIGHT LANE, and drivers are having to figure out their next move at the last second and it creates huge delays.

When voice reports there is a hazard ot would be great if it says on which side of the road it is

As a driver, I want the option to indicate a specific lane when reporting an obstacle, so that other drivers can plan their maneuvers in advance.

Hi,
Please allow users to specify which lane # the pothole is on. -

It would be nice to know which lane to not be in.

When driving in medium to heavy traffic and the alert comes up indicating “object on road”, users often don’t see the object until it is right in front of them. It would be very useful to add a step indicating which lane the object is in (Left, Middle/Only, Right). We could then move to a hazard-free lane well before getting to the object.

Pretty simple feature to add that would save drivers SO MUCH TIME when approaching a hazard or accident with enough distance to adjust lanes accordingly.

Have the ability to report which lane has the hazard, accident, pothole, etc.......

Currently for reporting hazards, accidents its all basic. Would be better if we were able to report hazard/accident is on which lane on the road. And have a number/icon with tbr hazard/accident to represent which lane the accident/hazard is on.

There should be additional buttons to describe where the accident is so that users can change lane earlier to avoid more accidents and causing jam due to changing lane last minute
For example
Emergeny lane, First lane, second lane, third lane, fourth lane, all lane
MORE OPTIONS
Emergency lane & first lane, first lane and second lane, second lane and third lane, third lane and fourth lane.
If there is no buttons which accurately describe the accident, wazers can type in themselves

The original reporter has just enough time to log the item, but all Wazers that are following with the acknowledgement can identify the location that it exists on the highway. This will make it much safer for everyone coming behind to be positioned in a safe lane until the hazard has been removed. For example: Vehicle stopped on left shoulder or pothole in center lane. Even if there are more than one center lane, it gives you a pretty good idea of where it is located.

For all alerts, please say WHICH LANE the debris or accident or roadkill, etc. is in. That way we will know in advance to change lanes. Number the lanes and put a little lane map on the screen so we all know which lane is which.

The new version has taken away the ability to note which side of the road the hazard is on. Not good!
