Show avoid toll menu option at main menu for easier switching between Avoid toll or not, like google map. So while driving we not required to click so many steps to switch on or off Avoid toll menu option.
Currently on mobile version we need to go settings > navigation > avoid toll roads.
On Car Play, I don’t even know how to reach settings options….

Give a user a notice when Waze is set to avoid tolls. Many times I have been on back roads wondering when I will get to a highway and come to realize that the option to "Avoid Tolls" is on.

Solution:
When the trip starts, let the user know what option is set.
Or have the toll status displayed on the screen "Toll Roads" / "Avoid Toll Roads". Also allow the user to choose if the status is to be displayed or not.

There should be a popup when you enter the address that asks "use HOV? yes/no". This would eliminate when Waze says "take the HOV" but there are no passengers. Also, it would eliminate the uncertainty you have when Waze suggests an alternate route without an HOV lane. Does the suggestion consider HOV? Does it not? Should I take the alternate route or take the HOV on the preferred route?

I think it will be better when planning a drive on Waze that the application ask if we want to avoid tollbooth or not for this drive
Because it's annoying to change the parameter or to check if the parameter is already off or not

Add an easier way to temporarily change toll avoidance option, perhaps as an option in the alternate Route choice.

Absolutely. When I’m driving for work I’ll take tolls, when it’s personal I mostly won’t. I have to unplug from Android Auto in order to check/change the toll setting. Super inconvenient.

I would love this. When I'm driving for Uber and Lyft, I set to avoid tolls when I don't have a pax, and to allow tolls on most trips with a pax. It's currently a pain to go into the settings and change this. I'd love it if there were a toggle on the main UI. Going through the menu while driving is very inconvenient.

Suggestion. Have the option to ask the user if they want to use a toll road before every trip. When I drive to work I don’t use tolls but will do on other occasions. A pop up option would be great.

In the mornings on the way to work I do not use tolls, but I will use them in the afternoon on the way home.

Can you add the tolls no tolls switch onto the main page so you can easily switch while driving. Sometimes I want tolls and then I also want to chose to reroute without them easily. It hard to go into settings and change it all the time. Thanks

You can check on alternative routes, and pick lower route but no toll.

There should be a Toll button on UI to let users to quickly detour by changing route Toll/ no Toll

How many time do you noticed right in the middle of your travel that you unfortunately forget to switch from avoid tools mode and vice versa. Why don’t you put an option into the menu that will prompt the user everything in time but all is detected into the best way in order to ask the user she want to keep this way or if you want another one.

Sometimes I take the toll road to work, even though Avoid Toll Roads is always on. If Waze is smart enough to ask me if I'm going to work, couldn't it be smart enough to offer an additional pop up if I enter the toll road: "Will you be taking the toll road to work today?"

I agree. Tolls in my area vary greatly -- from free to $10 per 2-mile segment -- depending on the day and time. When it's high it's just not worth it to pay $20 to drive 10 miles. This makes the toll / no-toll trip specific.

Changing the toll preference within Settings is dangerous during a trip. It should be exposed and settable on the main screen.

Make a Quick set up from fwy to streets. Make it visible on the navigation screen where route options shows. It takes time to go to settings and so and so. Thanks. Will be a big help!
