    We're in a climate crisis and everybody should drive less when there are alternatives available.
    Waze should help with that by suggesting Public Transportation or bicycle routes when selecting a destination, when those routes are viable alternatives (don't bother showing a 3h bus route for a 10 min drive).
    This could be similar to Google Maps and use the same data.
    Just by showing that there are alternatives, the user might be tempted to try them.
    This might be specially useful when driving in cities that have car restrictions, dedicated bus lanes or good bicycle infrastructure that rivals congestion, where…

  3. Make option to avoid international borders

    Drove from Boston to Michigan and the app continuously tried rerouting us through Canada to save time! Please add an option to avoid international borders so we don't have to worry about being sent through another country if traffic builds ahead.

    Have an option to adjust the maximum speed limit to account for company speed limits. Working for Hallcon, I can only drive 55 mph at night on a two-lane road, 65 mph during the day on a two-lane road, and a maximum of 70 mph for any road. I would like to be able to put this in settings, so that Waze can come up with a better route and ETA for me. I do not like being sent down two-lane roads at night going 55 mph when I could be going down a highway at 67 mph, and could…

  6. Customise routes according to specific vehicles

    Vehicles such as the Citroën Ami, Fiat Topolino or Opel Rocks cannot drive on all city roads because of their low power and the speed limits imposed (45 km/h).
    In Rome, for example, you can't drive on a very important road called the 'Tangenziale', or the motorway. This means that using Waze is not an option, as it often sends you to these roads, which are off-limits to small cars.
    It would be better if these small vehicles could have other routes so they don't risk getting fined or worse.

  8. When showing „Routes”, to be able to select „best average-speed route”

    When showing „Routes”, to be able to select „best average-speed route”, because many drivers prefer a longer but a more pleasant drive to a shorter but full of stops and traffic jams one. Driving faster is part of the pleasure of driving.
    Especially in very busy areas, this option would be more than welcomed.
    Driving is a pleasure per se, but not if you just stay in line, stuck in traffic jams.

    Mon employeur m'interdit de dépasser 110 km/h, y compris sur le autoroutes limitées à 130 km/h. Je souhaiterai disposer d'un itinéraire optimisé pour cette vitesse maximale, sans exclure les autoroutes limitées à 130 km/h.

  13. It would be very helpful if there was an option to show roads that don’t allow pulling trailers

    Waze does not give an option to show or redirect when you’re pulling a trailer. Some roads such as the Merritt Parkway don’t allow trailers. Sometimes we trailer motorcycles going south from Ct.

  14. "personal speed limit"

    Personaly set speed limit :
    Having a "personaly set speed limit" feature that could be set for a given trip planning, independantly from the speed figures of the drives taken in the past (i.e unlike the already existing Personalized ETA feature) would allow to get planning results corresponding to one's own speed limit decisions, whether they be for EV range optimisation, trailer towing, vehicle capabilities, fuel efficiency on combustion engine vehicles, or other reasons... That would actually also allow to see what is the time cost of "taking it easy".

  16. Motorcycle Routes

    I ride a motorcycle a make my own routes with MRA (MyRoute.App). I have used REVER, Harley Rider, Kuviger, and other programs to make motorcycle routes. Up load my designed routes to a GARMIN Zumo GPS. It does a pretty good job, but WAZES has some features that a standalone GPS does not offer. I am looking for a good navigation app like WAZE for my phone that I can upload my routes. Then I follow a specific route. Many of these routes are 100+ mile loop with a stop for a meal.

  17. New different possible routes interface now not user friendly

    The previous way to recheck the possible different routes was way more user friendly. When the options were in list form, with one glance we could see the different possibilities and as well as details for each of those routes. With the new format we only see time to destination and no other info. Please go back to the old format. Change is not always for the better.

  18. Allow the user to keep the route from changing

    Tonight I was driving home with family during the season’s biggest rain storm. Initially Waze set a good route across major freeways that are relatively safe in the rain. Then it suggested a re-route across a windy mountain road (Angeles Crest Highway) instead of the major freeway in order to save only about 2 minutes. Of course I hit No. It kept suggesting other re-routes as well, including driving across older freeways through downtown LA that are prone to flooding, and I hit No again. Each time it would barely save any time to do such re-route. But it would…
