  2. Report police driving in the same direction 🚨

    Today it's possible to report police driving in the opposite direction, but it would be good to also be able to report if they're driving in the same direction as yourself to be able to warn drivers ahead of you. Or maybe it should be all rescue vehicles, so people can give a clear lane for police, ambulances and fire trucks

  5. alerts for police with specified time

    Change the alerting system to say “police reported 1.8 miles ahead 1 minute ago” or something along those lines. We need more information on where they are so I don’t have to search for them on the map and figure out how long ago it was.

  6. Speed camera notifications

    Hi
    First of all thanks for the service.
    As a constant waze user I think one major upgrade would to be able to get speed camera notifications even if you are not speeding. This would help as sometimes the smart motorways sometimes are at a lower speed on digital sign than the current speed limits. Thanks again.

  7. Siri Shortcuts for reporting - PLEASE

    How about enabling Siri interaction so users can report things hands-free? “Siri, tell Waze to report police” or “Siri, tell Waze to report a stopped vehicle on the shoulder” would be a lot safer and easier while driving than fumbling with the phone or CarPlay UI. Please consider it.

  8. Ability to enter when a lane is closed due or a turn is temporarily blocked

    Need the ability to identify temporary lane closures as well as temporary turn prevention due to any activity. I have experienced this a number of times where a lane is closed off for some type of activity but Waze doesn’t allow me to report it to x pet for saying Construction on road when it isn’t always construction. Sometimes lanes are closed temporarily for events being held in the streets or even a right turn isn’t allowed because of road closures or other work being performed.

  9. Pindrop for Hazard Report

    Pindrop sighting report. Everytime i sighted a hazard such as broke down vehicles, police, construction or etc on the road, as a rider, i needed to safely navigate myself through the situation before I can pull out my phone and report it, by then, I will be a distance away and the report will be inaccurate.

    If I could pin drop the location of the incident/hazard, it will be a lot more useful for road user.

    In country such as Singapore, both hands must be on steering wheel at all times. Also, it is an offence for driver to touch…

  10. Rest areas along the route should be reported. Drivers will likely get tempted to type while driving if they suddenly need a rest area

    Rest areas should be on the report along the route. Report should include something like “Rest Area 5 miles ahead”

  12. road block reporting on car play

    In car play, reporting road block is not possible. To report a road block you will have to disconnect and report through your phone which is 1. Time consuming 2. Inconvenient and most importantly, very dangerous! I don’t understand why this crucial function is not available in car play mode. This is critical in reporting real time and safety!

  13. Checking if the one who declared a radar false alarm is moving or not, because if not he's a cop

    If I just passed a radar and declared it, the cop can just mark it as false, but the cop (in most countries) has static location, so why not checking if the one who declared it as false is moving or not.

  14. Potholes are removed by bad actors

    I drive rideshare and diligently mark devastating potholes just for them to be removed moments later. There may be bad actors in high clearance vehicles with big tires removing these, or just people that don't see them from a different lane. It's likely many just want the notification off screen and mindlessly downvote. It needs to be more difficult to get rid of pothole reports, or allow us a setting to make recent reports more persistent regardless of downvotes.

  15. Police report : choosing the exact location

    It is crucial to add a feature that allows users to pinpoint the exact location of police officers on the map. Or to be able to correct the location of the police officer. This increased precision will help drivers easily identify control zones and adjust their speed accordingly.

  16. Increased Detail on Police Vehicle reports

    When I report a police vehicle, the map drops a pin where I reported the incident. With the traffic feature, it gives me options: moderate, heavy, and stand still. Sometimes the police vehicle I am reporting is: (1) moving in traffic with me, (2) seen going the opposite direction, (3) seated in a parked location, or (4) just seen in the area. If the pin just drops and stays and the police vehicle is moving with me, it is no longer accurate within seconds. If the police vehicle is going in the opposite direction, that is also true.   17. CLOSED STREET REPORT IMPROVEMENT

    Hello,

    I would like to suggest an improvement of Waze driver interface. Specifically cleaning up and making it easier for the driver to report a street live street closure. When doing that, the map that pops out makes it very difficult to recognize which street we want to indicate that is closed. Cleaning this option up and adding street names would greatly improve ability to report it and warn other drivers.

  18. Allow us to create customizable single press shortcut button for hazard reporting etc.

    Too many steps to press while driving to report hazard etc can be dangerous. Why not allow users to create a customizable single press shortcut button for reporting car on shoulder or object on road instead of multiple steps of pressing buttons to get to the final issue. ie. not needing to press Hazard and then having to search the type of hazard in the small phone screen while driving. A single shortcut would be much easier. The most commonly used report for me is car on shoulder so why not just allow me to create that single shortcut.

  19. Better Report Road Closure Support

    This app is super useful, but today after serious flooding in my area I realized some major downsides... Please make it easier to report road closures!! Once you turn around, you can't report that the road behind you is closed and sometimes you need to move out of the way NOW! I wish I could still report after I've driven away. Also, if a road is local traffic only but fully closed further ahead, I can't report that the road is closed up ahead. Also, add a feature to report how much flooding there is when people report a flooding…

  20. Train

    I see suggestions for reporting trains, and the responses from Waze are that railroad crossings are now available. However, I would love if we could report when a train is actually there or if Waze was somehow able to detect trains / train schedules and find alternate routes one day. Knowing railroad crossings are helpful, but when there’s a train it could delay ~15 minutes to the route so it would be great to be notified of an active train or be able to report it
