Add Van (or non compliant) as vehicle type to avoid clean air zones
Waze ability to avoid clean air zones totally falls apart if driving a van that will be charged in a clean air zone. For example Waze will route me through Bradfords clean air zone even though my vehicle has to pay the charge. There is no option to chose a non compliant vehicle so Waze avoids the zone, only private, taxi, motorbike. I just want to simply select avoid clean air zones and then start my journey confidently knowing I will avoid the zones instead of the nightmare it is when following the navigation to see clean air zone signs…

Trucker Route Option

Vitesse de croisière sur autoroute
Un paramètre « Vitesse de croisière sur autoroute » permettrait d’optimiser le coût d’un long trajet.
Quand je traverse la France, et que je suis chargé (par exemple avec une caravane), je sais que ma vitesse de croisière sur autoroute sera d’environ 100 Km/h au lieu de 130 Km/h…
Je ne souhaite cependant pas exclure les autoroutes, mais j’imagine qu’avec le paramètre que j’ajoute, l’autoroute n’est pas toujours judicieuse et que dans certains cas, un Mix « autoroute/RN » est plus approprié.
J’espère avoir été à peu près clair.

Using voice commands to report on issues on the road
Would it be possible to report on traffic jams and other road dangers etc. via voice command instead of having to tap them on the screen? A voice command can be made much faster and is less distracting than the current way where you have look what to enter on the phone screen.

Need greater flexibility to report closed roads.
If I am passing by a closed road, I am not on the road, and Waze will not allow me to mark it as closed. This is a major hazard and hassle as you should be able to report ANY closed road in your general vicinity.

Permis probatoire
Bonjour, j’ai eu l’idée récemment d’inclure un mode "permis probatoire". Le mode permettait de :
Adapter la limitation de vitesse ainsi que les alertes en cas de franchissement de celle ci
Recalculer le temps de trajet en fonction de la limitation de vitesse
Au désir de l’utilisateur, ajouter une date à compte de laquelle le mode "permis probatoire" se désactive tout seul
Proposer cette option à l’installation de l’application me semble judicieux, il serait donc logique de proposer les options de navigation déjà présentes afin de configurer son Waze comme on le veut dès le début car certaines personnes ne…

hello, also for tourist use, have the possibility of integrating GPX tracks or routes.
or be able to create a route on https://www.waze.com/fr/live-map point by point to use it on waze.
the import or the creation of layout can be a "pro" option or requiring a minimal contribution to each import.
Useful for: landscape discovery trails, historical sites..., motorcycle rides,...
with the information of the time and km of the stage and and complete route.

Bridges
I have vertigo and had to drive the Dames Point Bridge due to the navigation. No warning. Please note high bridges or suspension bridges in the upcoming warnings and give us a chance to find alternate routes.

Add bus lanes and gates in waze in UK
I would love to add bus lanes in waze so new drivers and visitors from other cities will be saved from bus lanes fines. Specially in night times boards are unreadable. It's humble request please add this feature.

Personalized routes
Would be nice to be able to select which routes are more preferable in terms of time/length/convenience. Example: prefer long route vs traffic jam, or faster route vs shortest, or hard faster route vs nice longer road.
Basically allow to choose what's more important - time, money (gas), complexity (novice drivers prefer less crowded roads), maybe even "nice view" coefficient, and adjust the way Waze calculates the route for the individual.6 votes -

התרעה על אזעקות
לאור המצב הבטחוני אליו נקלענו ואליו אנחנו נקלעים במדינה כל מספר חודשים חשבתי על הצעת ייעול קטנה שתעזור לכל הנהגים למינהם - להוסיף באפליקציה התרעות על אזעקה.
זאת אומרת נגיד עכשיו אני נוסעת מבאר שבע לתל אביב - לאורך הנסיעה אקבל התרעה בתוך האפליקצייה על אזעקות. כך נהגים יוכלו לעצור בצד ולהגן על עצמם.
במהלך נסיעה המון פעמים לא שומעים את האזעקות דבר שיוצר סכנה מידית לנהגים שבדרכים.
ואם אפשר, שתהיה אופציה לבחור אם כן להפעיל את ההתרעות על האזעקות או לא - מאחר ויש אנשים שאולי ילחיץ אותם ויגרום להם לבהלה מיותרת.6 votes -
Ability of Waze to respond to suggestions
Having googled a problem with not being able to change from Feet to Yards in Navigation settings it’s seems that Waze has been called out on this since at least 2012. Does this mean that Waze does not care about all those suggestions (1000s)? It’s a very good app but such a small issue that you seem unwilling to deal with. Or even explain why you won’t do it. Why?

Road Avoidance
A way to tell Waze to avoid certain roads in the app, similar to tolls etc. but any road of my choosing.
I sometimes drive vehicles that can’t go down some roads and it would be really useful to be able to tell the app to never navigate me down roads I tell it not too.6 votes -
Add option to set a destination as final destination in when adding a stop, not just the existing options of "Add a stop" and "New Drive"
Sometimes when running errands, I'm already driving to "A". But then I want to get directions on how to get from "A" to "B". With the current options of "Add a Stop" and "New Drive", I would have to "Stop", set directions to "B", and then add "A" as stop. This is very complicated and it would be much simpler if there was an option to simply add "B" as final destination while I'm already navigating to "A".
