crash recovery
Better crash recovery, if im recording a route and the client crashes for any reason it would be good if when it was restarted it continued from where it left off. Currently it forgets the route.

We all know that you get the most of points from map editing, and people living in bigger countries get a regional advantage. I have been to Dominican Republic and there are not enough things to edit, but if you go to Russia... hurrah!. same thing when you think of China and Japan. I think you get the idea, there should be a calculation factor based on how extensive a country is.

For price of gas, just take a photo of the price to upgrade the price in wazem

http://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59225-cartouche-map-editor-and-waze-com-website has been broken now for many days. Would the person/persons that set up these forums please fix!

When I report police via the voice recognition it always is hidden

individual vocal cue control
I would love to be able to turn the different vocal cues on and off individually. The only option currently seems to be to get a cue 1/4 mile before the turn, 1/10 mile before the turn, and at the turn itself. The 1/10 mile warning always comes immediately after the 1/4 mile warning, making it useless and annoying, so I'd really like to be able to turn that one off!

Optional speed based auto zoom for normal (non-routing) use.
I just thought it would be nice for it to zoom in on cities, towns and then zoom out on highways. It might be able to save data usage for normal use.

Add forward, back buttons on pop ups
I would love to see a forward and back button on the pop up notifications. Many times I'll glance down and slightly catch what the pop up said, but It's gone and I'm unable to go back through it. Then when I stop again I see the same ones over. It would be nice to scroll through because not all are important to the driver.

The display switches to night mode when first turned on in the morning (GMT-10 time zone)
What time does waze use to determine when to use day or night mode.

On an iPhone - If I starting entering a destination to search, the message will pop up asking me to resume navigation.
On an iPhone - If I starting entering a destination to search, the message will pop up asking me to resume navigation. I can't hit yes or no, because the keyboard is in the way. I need to hit search on the keyboard, then hit no, then go back and redo my search. This could be fixed by closing the keyboard when messages popup.

Reports block area of interest - perhaps have it float off with arrow pointing to location?
I love the reports but when the app floats to the AOI it's blocked so I'm not really sure where the report was made, sometimes it's very ambiguous and it names a street in the report. If the image of that report could float off leaving an arrow or something marking the area so we can see where on the map it is would be very helpful :)

WIFI broadcasting in a P2P like network
When having problems getting to the network. Waze can WFI brodcast you report and bounce it from client to client until it gets to the server and in the way you just notified all the cars near by that are the once they need the information.
ie. Broadcast an accident you just reported to the cars going on the other direction and just passed near you.1 vote
