Mark roads/routes safe for women travelling alone
I usually drive alone and as a woman travelling solo there have been some roads on which I have been somehow scared due to their lack of illumination/population nearby. I was wondering if you have ever thought about adding a feature that would flag roads safe for women travelling alone. For me, I would definitely feel safer knowing that the route is well lit/populated/does not go through dangerous neighborhoods and I wouldn't mind if it's not the shortest or quickest route as long as I feel safe. Easily change fuel type when searching for gas stations
I have 2 cars, one petrol and one diesel, and changing the fuel from one car to another is too complicated when driving, so I end up looking for the gas station with the best petrol price even when I'm driving the diesel car, and maybe that gas station does not have a good price for diesel.

Single lane/double lane countdown
For roads that switch between single lane and double lane (in the same direction) forth and back, it would be nice to have a counter indicating how long it is left to next switch.
These kind of roads are common on the swedish country side.

CarPlay car audio Navigation volume test addition
I have noticed in two cars (my 2019 Nissan and a 2019 Subaru) that with CarPlay the "Navigation" volume can only be adjusted when the Waze app is actually "saying" something.
It is possible to stimulate a voice response (change to an alternate route and hit "go" or use the microphone to enter a nonsense command).
The addition of a "test navigation sound" to the "sound options" menu in Waze would be a more helpful and direct method to adjust the car's entertainment system "navigation" volume. Waze could just babble about something and show a tool tip "adjust car audio…10 votes -
Simple “beep” dictionary
Sometimes the voice guidance may be annoying.
Wile during silent navigation you might miss a turn.
Please add an option for a single “beep ” a few meters before the turn, and a “beep beep” warning just before the turn.10 votes -

Je viens de croiser un accident générant un énorme bouchon non signalé sur Waze. J’a Voulu le publier mais hélas la fonction accident ou bouchon en sens opposé n’existe pas. C’est bien dommage

Create user profiles
I wish Waze, like Netflix and so many other must-have apps, let you create user profiles.
That way, to give just one example, you wouldn’t have to change the HOV setting each time you use a Tesla to “electric” (which allows you to use certain HOV lanes).

Connect with train position tracking systems
Connect Waze and train position tracking systems like http://provoz.szdc.cz/grappnv/ to warn the driver in advance that he/she is approaching rail crossings and a train is in near vicinity and therefore there is serious danger and he/she should be aware of it. Alerte limite vitesse
Bonjour,
Merci pour cette application.
Serait-il possible de pouvoir moduler le son de l'alerte sonore de dépassement de la vitesse, car je ne l'entends pas, même quand le son global de Waze est au maximum.
Cela sera d'autant plus utile que les routes françaises passeront prochainement à 80km/h.

Disable irrelevant ads POI
I understand ads are the most important thing in your business model, but wouldn't it be better to have targeted ads?
Please allow us to disable irrelevant ads. I'm sick of seeing fast food POIs. I won't go, ever! Give me fancy restaurants instead!

local law icons (like "no-turn-on-red")
I travel a lot for work, and never know basic road rules where I'm at. So I always err on the side of caution. Things like "Can I turn right on a red?", better not.
It would be AWESOME if I could drop a very small little overlay with icons of my choosing for (optional overlay please, with checkboxes if I want this particular feature):
- Right-turn-on-red "green-yes / red-no / grey-unknown"
- Passing-on-right-allowed "<same colors>"

When you search, can it list from Favorites first
Currently, when you search, it does not always list all the matching items from favorites, and lists a bunch of results that are not related!

Flash écran pour les alertes et/ou les changements de directions.
Bonjour,
je n'utilise pas les alertes vocales parce que j'écoute souvent la radio et que celles-ci viennent couper le fils des discutions.
Par contre je passe parfois à coté d'alerte parce que mon oeil n'a pas capté qu'il y avait un danger devant ou un changement d'itinéraire par rapport à d'habitude.
je propose une option qui consisterait a faire une flash rapide avec l'écran (par le flash de l’appareil photo ... il est derrière l'écran ...) pour avertir de ces alertes ou des changements de directions.10 votes -

METEO LUNGO IL PERCORSO E NELL'INDIRIZZO DI DESTINAZIONE
dovete mettere anche il Meteo lungo il percorso! Consumerebbe un sacco di dati, ram e batteria, però sarebbe favoloso, poter vedere il meteo nella città destinataria e magari in quelle vicine dettate dalla mappa.

Tarhe Traffic (road limitation) in Tehran, Iran
Basically there are limitations on roads that you can have access to during the day in Tehran, Iran. There are areas that you can access only if you have the permit for the day and there are areas that you can access based on your plate ending number. So for example if you have even number ending plate then you can pas from these areas only on even days of the week.
These are issues that waze does not put into consideration while it is navigating and you can easily get fined by passing from these areas automatically.

Correct Multi window (currently pauses)
Can you please allow waze to work correctly in multi window mode.Android 7.1.1 if you have Waze open in a multi-window configuration, it wouldn't actually work as expected. As long as it had focus and was the last app you interacted with, Waze would work as expected, updating your location and orientation on the map. But if you interacted with another app in multi-window, Waze would stop updating until you go back to it.
Similar issue with Google maps which just got fixed:

Discard fuel prices after some time
For each gas station there are the fuel prices, e how many days ago they were entered.
For some gas stations, the fuel prices have not updated since long time, and so the indication has become useless and misleading. It may be that it's listed an expensive price for a gas station just because in the past the fuel was everywhere more expensive than now (and hence now nobody will go to that gas station, and the prices of that station will not get updated anymore).Hence, my proposal is that, after some time (say, two months), the fuel prices…
