The app did not warn me of the Sheffield clean air zone but did warn me about the Bradford one. Could be an oversight
More comprehensive clean air zone warnings.
If one does enter a clean air zone then the app could send a link to pay it. That would be really helpful 👍🏻4 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Option to turn off alerts for speed cameras on regularly traveled roads
It is helpful to have speed camera alerts on roads you’re new to or rarely travel on.
However it’s disruptive when you get alerts for speed cameras you regularly pass while commuting.
Using basic pattern recognition software on regular routes drivers could be provided the option to turn off camera alerts for the specific route(s).

STREET NAMES SAY THEM ALL VOICES
Even the voices marked as street names included are not stating street names. If you want users this is critical. tired of missing turns because there are multiple options and the map is not detailed enough

EV charging stations that are mapped on GM should display charging details on Waze
At present, Waze doesn’t display critical EV charging information like charger type and power output for Google locations. Even when linking a Waze location to a Google location, these details aren’t automatically imported, as they are with opening hours. To provide accurate EV information on Waze, users are forced to manually input all relevant details for each charging station.

The return of the HALO features
I think this Christmas for a temporary time. Please allow us Waze users to be able to purchase the HALO features permanently for our apps. As you saw with how many users wanted the HALO features to return through our petitions and so on. Please take this into consideration.

Drunk
Subject: Innovative Idea for Enhancing Road Safety- Reporting Drunk Drivers on Waze.
I propose adding a feature that allows users to report suspected drunk drivers directly through the app. Similar to how users can report hazards or police activity, a “Report Drunk Driver” button could alert nearby drivers of a potentially dangerous situation. This could help keep drivers safe by providing timely warnings and allow law enforcement to be notified for quicker intervention.
This feature could include:
• A Quick Reporting Option: Users could tap a button to report a suspected drunk driver, including the vehicle’s description and location.
• Real-Time Alerts: Waze could notify other drivers in the area to exercise caution, helping to prevent accidents.
• Integration with Law Enforcement: The information could be forwarded to local authorities for timely action, if necessary.I believe this feature aligns with Waze’s mission to improve road safety through community-based alerts, and it could be a game-changer for preventing accidents caused by impaired driving.

Add tunnels to exceptions
Hundred thousands of people are claustrophobic and don’t want to pass through tunnels or get stuck in one during a traffic jam.

Driving with friends
I usually travel with my friends, each one with his own car, and we like to stick together. It will be useful if we can create a group of friends in app, to share a route for everybody to follow, to see the live location of every member of the group, to see their ETA to the meeting point, to alarm the group if something happens, to see if I leave the group's original route, to call the group for a rest stop.

Saludos.

Cameras
I think it would be a good idea to have the mobile phone detection cameras added as a warning on the map like any other camera in Australia

Vehicle icons too big
Car icons way too large since recent update. Makes it extremely difficult to see roads and the general map. Nobody asked for extra large vehicle icons that look so cartoonish...please revert back!

Alternate route display should follow the setting for "Keep map north up"
If "Keep map north up" is off then alternate routes should be displayed with my position at the bottom of the screen.
This will make it easier to visualise alternate routes relative to my current position.
Also applies to the app but I'm only able to select one category.

Adapt routes and ETA to the choice of a user's max speed
More and more of us, for economic or ecological reasons, or simply because our vehicle does not allow us to, self-limit and not drive at more than 100 km/h or 90 km/h, even on the highway.
It would be good if when searching for a route, we could define a Max speed for the vehicle and that the calculation of the different routes takes this into account.
A route on a road limited to 100 km/h, usually abandoned in favor of a route using a highway limited to 130 km/h could even become faster as soon as the driver decides not to exceed 100 or 110 km/h...
It would be good to be able to play with this parameter in the choice of routes and to have ETAs accordingly.
This could be, for example, a cursor that would move the ETAs according to the maximum speed.More and more of us, for economic or ecological reasons, or simply because our vehicle does not allow us to, self-limit and not drive at more than 100 km/h or 90 km/h, even on the highway.

Drive with others
My idea would make it so you can add friends to your profile, and with those friends you could “drive with them” and it would link you guys on the same trip. Then it could find switch out points for you based on your drive. Also while I’m driving, the other person could close out the app and when it’s their turn, i pass the drive to them and it picks up on their phone right where I left off.

Manually adjust car starting direction on the map
It would be great to have a feature to manually adjust the car's direction on the map. Often, the app assumes a starting direction and plans the route accordingly, but it doesn’t update until you start driving in the opposite direction. It would also be helpful to define the side of the street when arriving at the destination, making navigation even more accurate!

Report and show long term roadworks
Since I am driving thousands of kilometers a month I need a button to report long term roadworks especially for highways/autobahn. And with that it would be nice if the lenght of the roadwork is shown too - it could look the same like the time it takes to come through a traffic jam on the left side of the screen.
The first report marks the beginning of the roadwork, the second the end of it. In Germany there are signs where they write the estimated end date of the current roadwork. That could be reported too.
