Connect Waze to sireneradar.com to let Waze show a warning of an approaching emergency vehicle.
In the Netherlands we have the sireneradar.com initiative. Most emergency services are connected to this system.
The location of the police/fire/ambulance-vehicle is reported realtime to the platform, That data is available to navigation vendors like TomTom and Flitsmeister, and they sound and display a warning to their users for an approaching emergency vehicle.
This way the Waze users get an early warning, so they can be extra alert when they need to.

Alert "Traffic ahead" not helping...
The voice alert "Traffic ahead" should be hear at least 5 seconds before the traffic. Otherwise it misses the point - I can see the traffic by myself...

ETA on the front of the App
When you have your 1 stop route ready to go. The front page shows the ETA at the bottom, which is great. My suggestion has to do when you create a stop before the final destination. The display shows only the ETA of the 1st stop not the entire trip. It would be convenient for the area to show the first stop ETA and the final ETA. Either both at the same time or rotate both. Otherwise I have to go into another page to see my final ETA. Then when the first stop has completed then just show me…

añadir limite maximo de velocidad de coche, furgoneta,camion,autobus...e.t.c. de este modo se puede calcular con mas exacti
buenas, añadir porfavor limite maximo de velocidad de coche, furgoneta,camion,autobus...e.t.c.
de este modo se puede calcular con mas exactitud la hora de llegada.
tambien se puede añadir que tipo de vehiculo utilizo...

Aviso de aprobación de FOTO, LUGAR, ETC, al usuario waze que la reporto.
Sería muy bueno, que los usuarios que reportan FOTOS, LUGARES, ETC y que no lo pueden aprobar por tener un Nivel Bajo, reciban un mensaje automático cuando un usuario superior (Ej. L4, L5, etc) les apruebe dicho reporte. Creo que de esta manera, el usuario estaría viendo que su esfuerzo fue valorado y lo incentivaría a nuevos reportes. Gracias.

Increase visibility area in landscape mode.
While using waze on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3), the device is on its side. I like to see the map in landscape mode. With the new update (version 4.0.0.2 installed) any warnings and the display of the names of streets COVERS a big part of the map. I suggest to enlarge the área of the map shown in landscape mode for smartphones at least.

Portuguese - Seria muito útil criar um alerta de ciclistas e pedestres que estão transitando nos acostamentos das rodovias. Seria mais util ainda se o Wase pudesse acessar o banco de dados do Strava e automaticamente informasse que há "ciclistas a frente". Certamente os wazers alertariam da existência de ciclistas ou pedestres nas rodovias que representam perigo de atropelamento.

moving waze folder inside Android/data
Can you move the waze folder from memory's root to a folder like Android/data/com.waze)
The reason is to keep clean the memory's root to makes easier for user to find important folders like DCIM, Downloads, Music and such on a glimpse. Also, folders in this form are deleted automatically upon app uninstallation, making it cleaner and may make it compatible with app2sd.

Show Road events information in Map view - Plan Route
In the earlier version of Waze this feature was available. With the new update the feature disappeared:
When choosing the best route out of 3 options Waze shows the list of route and the map. In the Map View not it is missing the traffic information!!!!To be able to choose the best route it is totally necessary to see WHERE exactly along the route you should expect traffic.
The list view shows this info somehow, but it is difficult to guess where exactly the road events are just on a simple line. In the Map View, you can easily…18 votes -
Add favorites from desktop Mac/PC.
Add Desktop access. I find a route on my desktop, I have to send myself a text to add it to Waze. It would be nice if I could access my Waze client so I could both add favorites and manage current addresses on my desktop where I have a full keyboard.

Je trouve grotesque que l'on perde son compte lorsque l'on change de téléphone. Le message reçu de Waze lorsque j'ai voulu retrouver mon compte est hallucinant de désinvolture, c'est à peu près ceci : "Oups, ils semble que votre compte se soit perdu dans le labyrinthe".

Text colors
Presently, in turn-by-turn navigation, the distance until the next maneuver is in white an the name of the street/exit where that maneuver is to take place is in blue. The blue text is hard to read against a black background; and since the name of the street/exit is more important than the distance to it (IMO), I recommend switching these colors to show the street/exit name in white (and the distance in blue).

Route Tracking Recorder Functionality
Implement a RTR(Route Tracking Recorder) Functionality.
Say you have this path you like to do every now and then. Activate the RTR and drive until your destination, once there, deactivate RTR. Done! Waze has recorded that route you just drove and saved it.
Ok... what now? Well, you can:1) Use it once again;
OR (where it really shines :)
2) share it to a friend, so that person will know that special route you did to save time from traffic.
Had this idea after a colleague had to follow me until certain point of my daily route to cut…
