Adding what lane to be in, direction to go in and one after, stop signs, stop lights, real map features showing places nearby, multiple stop
I use Apple Maps currently because it shows what lane to be in at all times, the direction to go where to turn and then the turn after which helps me prepare, stop signs, stop lights, and it shows a real map with restaurants and places nearby like the names of them. I also want to be able to add numerous stops and arrange them. I want to use waze because it is more personalized with human use and it shows cops and accidents and traffic better, but I can't use directions without the things listed above as it makes it way easier for me. I would love to switch over to waze but I have to wait till these updates are installed as they are vital for a good driving experience for me.

Representar con un icono las intersecciones con semaforo y stop.
Waze represente en las intersecciones que tienen semaforo o Stop el icono que lo indica durante la navegacion.

Certaine personne s’amusent à supprimer les radars fixe.
Après recherche sur internet je suis tombé sur un commentaire Facebook :Le voici :
Nous sommes très nombreux à les supprimer volontairement.
La loi française impose une zone légale pour les systèmes de navigation.
Indiquer l'emplacement exact est interdit.
Waze doit être un système de navigation et prévenir des dangers.
Un radar n'est pas un danger bien au contraire.

Cela serait bien, qu’on n’est pas la possibilité de supprimer les radars ou si il y a par exemple 100 comptes différents sur 2semaines qui indiquent qu’il n’y a plus de radars.
Cela éviterait que des abruti comme la personne sur FB s’amuse à supprimer les radarsMerci

Lane by lane guidance Display update
Waze should add lane by lane guidance showing what lanes to be in on the map as well as the ui pop-up(similar to Apple Maps and Google maps) With wazes crowd sourced traffic reporting this could be incredibly powerful especially if lane reporting is implemented afterwards.

Add changes in distance and time together
Everytime you reach a route options, only show different in time (+8min).
Maybe can add in distance different and time different along.
Mean i know when i took choose another route, i know this route is another (example) +6 km and additional +15min.
Or -3 km but +9 min

Add “gawking” & “poor driving” to hazards
Please add “gawking” and poor driving or poor driver as options under hazards to explain traffic as these are some of the more common causes of traffic on highways where I live

Offline / Downloadable maps
Please add a downloadable map option for the few times ive been out of signal, like the other night leaving London wembley after a concert. I was left not knowing where to go and ended up with a extra hour &a half trip on top of a near 3 hour journey.

Since 07/06/26 the name of the street keeps appearing on top of the arrow or the car, throughout the route, greatly impairs the visualisatio

Get rid of the direction prompt at 0.6 miles.
We already have prompts at 1, 0.5, 0.25 and 0.1 miles. The prompt at 0.6 miles is way too close to 0.5 miles. Either get rid of it or at least give us a script to personalize it. This is the only one that's missing from the list.

Battery saver ios
Adding a battery saver feature for iOS as well. I saw it’s available on the Android version but not iOS. Since the newest updates Waze has been draining my battery on my phone quickly.

Lors de l'entrée dans une zone de contrôle tronçon, Waze signale le début du contrôle, mais il est difficile de savoir ensuite si sa vitesse moyenne reste sous la limite autorisée.
Il serait utile d'afficher, jusqu'à la fin du tronçon, la vitesse moyenne calculée en temps réel, avec un indicateur visuel (vert/orange/rouge) et, en option, une alerte sonore lorsque la vitesse moyenne dépasse la limite.
Cette fonctionnalité aiderait les conducteurs à respecter la limitation de vitesse tout au long du contrôle, en favorisant une conduite plus sereine et plus sûre.

Me gustaría sugerir una función de rutas que podría ayudar a prevenir la congestión causada cuando muchos usuarios reciben la misma recomendación de usar la “mejor” ruta al mismo tiempo.
La idea es que Waze no solo calcule la ruta más rápida para cada conductor de forma individual, sino que también estime cuántos usuarios están siendo guiados actualmente hacia esa misma ruta. Si la app detecta que recomendar la misma ruta a demasiados conductores podría crear o empeorar la congestión, podría distribuir inteligentemente a los usuarios por lotes entre rutas alternativas cercanas.
Por ejemplo, en vez de enviar a miles de conductores por la misma calle que en ese momento parece ser la más rápida, Waze podría recomendar la Ruta A a un grupo, la Ruta B a otro grupo y la Ruta C a otro, considerando el impacto proyectado en el tráfico, la capacidad de cada vía, el tiempo de viaje y la equidad entre los usuarios.
Esto podría ayudar a que Waze pase de un sistema de rutas principalmente reactivo a uno más preventivo: no solo detectando los tacos después de que ocurren, sino también evitando la congestión que podría ser creada por las propias recomendaciones de ruta.
La función podría considerar:
- Volumen de tráfico actual y proyectado.
- Cantidad de usuarios de Waze que están siendo guiados hacia cada ruta.
- Capacidad de la vía y tipo de calle.
- Rutas alternativas cercanas.
- Distribución justa, para que los mismos usuarios o barrios no sean siempre perjudicados.
- Protección de calles residenciales, evitando enviar demasiado tráfico por zonas no preparadas para recibirlo.
La app podría mostrar una explicación simple como:
“Ruta alternativa recomendada: ayuda a evitar congestión proyectada más adelante.”
Entiendo que es una función compleja, pero creo que podría mejorar significativamente la movilidad urbana, reducir el estrés al conducir y beneficiar a toda la comunidad de usuarios.

Hello Waze team,
I would like to suggest a routing feature that could help prevent congestion caused by many users being recommended the same “best” route at the same time.
The idea is that Waze could not only calculate the fastest route for each individual driver, but also estimate how many users are currently being guided toward that same route. If the app detects that recommending the same route to too many drivers could create or worsen congestion, it could intelligently distribute users in batches across nearby alternative routes.
For example, instead of sending thousands of drivers through the same currently-fast street, Waze could recommend Route A to one group, Route B to another group, and Route C to another group, based on projected traffic impact, road capacity, travel time, and fairness between users.
This could help Waze move from reactive routing to preventive routing: not only detecting traffic jams after they happen, but avoiding congestion that may be created by routing recommendations themselves.
The feature could consider:
- Current and projected traffic volume.
- Number of Waze users being guided to each route.
- Road capacity and type of street.
- Nearby alternative routes.
- Fair distribution, so the same users or neighborhoods are not always disadvantaged.
- Residential street protection, to avoid sending excessive traffic through unsuitable areas.
The app could show a simple explanation such as:
“Recommended alternative route: helps avoid projected congestion ahead.”
I understand this is a complex feature, but I believe it could significantly improve urban mobility, reduce travel stress, and benefit the whole driving community.

Jullie promoten de nieuwe feature van inspreken van meldingen door een pop-up OVER de navigatie heen te plaatsen!!! Ik rij op een motor en kan met mijn handschoen die pop-up niet wegklikken! Dit frustreert enorm terwijl ik probeer om de navigatie gewoon te gebruiken. Haal deze pop-up alstublieft zo snel mogelijk weg!!

Il ne faut pas annoncer "controle de vitesse moyenne" si ce n'est pas un radar tronçon.
Pour les radars, vous annoncez toujours "Contrôle de vitesse moyenne" alors que ce n'est le cas que des radar tonçon uniquement, et ils sont rares en France.
