Show routes with and without tolls options
I don't know if it is a problem limited to my phone.
Some routes suggested when "Avoid tolls roads" is set to ON may not be among suggested routes when "Avoid Toll Roads" is set to OFF.
In a few words, please add a "Show All Routes" and indicate which ones are with or without tolls by adding a note or using a different color font, etc.,1 vote -
Waze for Bicycles/Cyclists
Waze provides the most realistic arrival time, compared to GoogleMaps. I am a cyclist and I use GoogleMaps to help navigate my cycling route. The arrival time keeps changing and it’s hard to plan with friends when meeting somewhere in the middle of the route.
Hope that we can make Waze available for cyclists to use for navigation, where cycling paths (already available in GoogleMaps) can be made available in Waze as well.

Waze HUD Navigation Missing on BMW OS8 (Apple CarPlay)
Category: Bug Report / Feature Integration
Platform: Apple CarPlay
Vehicle / System: BMW with Operating System 8 (OS8)
Description
When using Waze via Apple CarPlay, navigation instructions and turn-by-turn prompts are not displayed in the vehicle's Head-Up Display (HUD) under BMW OS8.
Important Context: The vehicle's CarPlay HUD interface is fully functional. When using Apple Maps, all turn-by-turn arrows and lane guidance are projected onto the HUD without any issues. The problem is specific to Waze, as the app currently does not seem to output the secondary screen navigation data required for the BMW HUD.
Expected Behavior
Waze should utilize the native Apple CarPlay dual-screen/instrument cluster API so that navigation prompts are displayed in the BMW OS8 Head-Up Display, just as they are with Apple Maps.Category: Bug Report / Feature Integration

Nearest petrol station on the driven route
During active navigation, on android auto, when I search for petrol station I shows me the nearest one as the crow flies, but not the nearest one on my route. (As does google maps do.)
Sometimes it shows me a petrol station 2km away, but to get there i need to drive 20km, then drive of the highway, and drive 20km back.
Also zooming and moving of the map would be nice while viewing the petrol stations, to see if they are a viable option.1 vote -

Confirm certain Alerts once
I travel the same route 2-3 times a week with several potholes. Why do i have to confirm "Still There" / "Not There" alerts even though i have already done this on this route. Certain alerts such as "Police" or Car on Shoulder" makes sense but why must i re-confirm something i have confirmed already.

Reduce Resource Consumption
Why is Waze so resource intensive - My phone is constantly hot and my battery power gets thrashed - it feels like im running a data centre with all the resources you draw ... I always have to plug my phone in during a long trip, but this is not the case with any other mapping system.
Please find out why you hogg all my power and processing power and fix

Enable "Snap To" feature
Please can you enable a "Snap To" feature in car play so that when you need to confirm a hazard, the cursor is already over the "Still There" / "Not There". This way one does not have to scroll to the correct area of the screen to click feedback.
Also, why does the screen menu items come on and off and continually move when you scroll - this should stay static so as not to distract the driver1 vote -

Dynamic Green Corridors: Infrastructure-Integrated Predictive Routing for Emergency Vehicles
This system connects Waze directly to a city’s emergency dispatch and traffic light grid using a secure, locked-down connection. When an ambulance or fire truck is dispatched, Waze calculates its route and instantly talks to the city's traffic systems to automatically change upcoming traffic lights to green. At the same time, Waze's engine predicts traffic bottlenecks 60 to 90 seconds ahead of the emergency vehicle and triggers a "flushing mode." This gives everyday drivers a clear, early countdown and lane instructions right on their screens, safely moving everyone out of the way and clearing gridlock before the emergency vehicle even arrives. I'd love to hear the community's thoughts on bridging the app with city infrastructure like this!

Scaling Waze via Infrastructure Integration and Predictive Routing
Dear Waze Executive Team,
I joined the Waze community recently, and as a business owner, engineer, AI professional, and cybersecurity specialist, I immediately recognized the immense strategic value of your crowdsourced data model. Waze has successfully gamified and decentralized navigation; however, the next leap in market dominance lies in transforming Waze from a consumer mapping application into a critical pillar of B2G and smart-city infrastructure.
I have developed a high-level product framework for a premium or enterprise-tier ecosystem that I call "Dynamic Green Corridors." This feature leverages Waze’s predictive routing engine to interface directly with municipal traffic management centers, creating a real-time clearance system for emergency services.
I have broken down the high-level architecture into three core pillars:
Smart City Infrastructure Link: Establishing secure, low-latency API handshakes with municipal traffic management systems. By ingesting real-time dispatch data, Waze can request automated preemptive signal priority — extending green lights or accelerating red-to-green transitions — along an active emergency route.
Predictive Routing and Congestion Flushing: Utilizing Waze’s historical and real-time traffic data, the AI routing engine calculates exactly where bottlenecks will form 60 to 90 seconds ahead of an approaching emergency vehicle. It triggers a "flushing mode," dynamically altering traffic signals for civilian drivers to disperse gridlock before the emergency vehicle arrives.
Contextual User-Facing Orchestration: Providing civilian drivers with precise, predictive UX cues, such as an alert stating an emergency vehicle is approaching in 45 seconds and instructing them to clear the left lane. This shifts driver behavior from reactive panic to organized, proactive compliance.
The Business and Security Case:
From a cybersecurity perspective, interfacing with municipal infrastructure introduces unique vector risks. This architecture would require a strict zero-trust model, utilizing hardware-security modules and mutually authenticated TLS to isolate traffic control grids from external manipulation.Strategically, this positions Waze as an indispensable municipal partner, opening up massive public-sector revenue streams, mitigating city-wide emissions from idle traffic, and drastically reducing emergency response times.
Given my background across engineering, enterprise security, and business scaling, I see a clear roadmap for how this can be securely executed. I have several other architecture and feature concepts aligned with this vision and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how we might collaborate to pilot a framework like this.
Thank you for your time and continued innovation.
Best regards,
