Slow Down Move Over
Do to a large amount of public safety vehicles being hit while on major roads is it possible to add to the police alert "Slow Down Move Over"?

Report map issues on CarPlay screen
When hitting report on the CarPlay screen, Map Issue isn't one of the options. If there is a map issue you cannot even do it from the phone since the display is different. You have to quickly unplug the phone from the car so Waze goes into normal phone mode, and do it from there. That is too much of a dangerous distraction messing around whit phone cables and the phone. Everything in the app should be easily accessible on the car play screen. For transcribing the map issue you can use voice to text, exactly how the iPhone works with text messages in CarPlay today. Just dictate your map issue message and after it reads it back to you say send it, change it or cancel.

"xx min ago" on alert popup
add age of the report to the popup when alerting the driver about police/speed trap, hazard, accident etc.
it does not take much space, but will be very informative and useful for Wazers - to know, when does the report was commited13 votes -
Alerta de Velocidade do Radar
Por que até hoje não há apresentação ou visualização da velocidade do radar ao alertar???
Ao alertar por velocidade acima do radar, o alerta poderia cobrir a tela, ou metade dela, com a velocidade limite piscando em vermelho, e não discretamente no canto da tela...

add tts voices in voice direction
Hi,
You can add new option in voice direction.
now there are 2options.
recorded voice direction that can't include street name, and waze voices that only some of them are include street name.
If you add this option, with espeak tts, it can read street name in 79 languages without recorde any voice.

A way to block roads except for residents. Potentially during certain hours.
Massachusetts has quite a few areas with signs “residents only” or “local traffic only”, some during certain hours.

Funny voice interpretation
Please adopt some Philippines funny voice version, voices like Babalu, Dolphy or Fernando Poe Jr. As you all know that traffic here is terrible hearing those voices will have some smile on a commuters/passengers. Its a nice form of entertainment to ease the heavy traffic.

Report if you are in a Handicap Parking Spot and if you Leave out of the Handicap Parking Spot how other Wazers who are Handicap will know a Empty Handicap Parking Spots is Open and Available.

Report dangerous traffic light / intersection
You used to have the option to report a missing traffic sign or a dangerous traffic light or intersection. Anyway this option has gone missing from the hazard report.
Please bring it back! There are lots of roads (especially in Israel) where the traffic light is almost unnoticeable and it it super dangerous!!!
I had an accident today because of that :(
If the waze voice warns before entering a known dangerous intersection then automatically the driver is more couscous and alert and less speedy.
Please add an option to report it.

You want to go to a place, but you don't need to go any time soon, so you plan ahead, and say:
When I drive close to "this" place, I'll stop by.
So what I want is this:
I tell Waze, I'll need to get to "X" place.

Show and say the next action before the gps signal lost in tunel
I'm living in a country where lot of tunnel on the road. I all the time facing the problem where I have no time to change the lane at the exit of the tunnel, because the signal lost in the tunnel, and when the device lock the signal again there not enough time to take the action.
It would be nice to warn the user "you driving into the tunnel at the tunnel exit keep left" or something similar.
Yes I know I can see the next action when the gps signal lost but if I don't know how long is the tunnel I'm not sure the next action will be right after the tunnel exit or later needed.I'm living in a country where lot of tunnel on the road. Easy speed limit update request
When the speed limit is incorrectly set, a user request should be easy to generate: push the speed dial, UR screen is displayed with the common speed signs of the respective country.
Tapping the sign & send would post a UR with the right information.
Easy for the driver, easy for the editor, good for accurateness of the map!13 votes -
Reward helpful information in Update Requests
When reviewing Update Requests in Waze Map Editor, it is very helpful and satisfying when the user making the report provides enough information that I can identify and fix a problem without asking for additional information. When this happens, as a reviewer of the Update Request, I would like to be able to reward the user for their helpful information. I envision this as some sort of check box when I mark the Update Request as Solved that would drop a road goodie for the reporter. This is just an idea for implementation and it could take a different form as long as the reporter could be rewarded for good information.
Also, there would need to be a mechanism for preventing self-reward.

Passenger Assist/Remote Control Feature
I wish passengers could remotely control a driver's Waze app through the Waze app on their own phone.
It would be useful for when it's dangerous for the driver to interact with their phone or the passenger to reach over because the vehicle is on the move. Maybe it could be implemented by requiring both driver and passenger to have been friends on Waze and then comparing whether their spatial vectors are similar to prevent abuse. The initiation should be done from the passenger's Waze app and it should be possible to request remote control at any point of time, even in the middle of a trip.
I want it to be completely seamless to the driver so they don't have to tap on a confirmation prompt to allow a passenger to remotely control their Waze. Of course, the driver's Waze should display a widget at the corner or something that lets them quickly break a remote connection.
